御自分祖父但見父藤七郎打続金津奉行格別出精相勤移り旁
思召有之乍格式金津奉行被仰付候右御役中諸事金津奉行振合之
通と可被相心得候 但今日於御座所思召有之乍格式金津奉被仰付候後右之通被申渡也
右享和三亥二月廿八日御用番本多修理方左之通申渡候様被申聞申渡之
一御本丸御礼席表寄合本席へ入右同人御礼申上候様
一恐悦申上ハ壱人別段ニ申上候様
一評定所ニ而ハ正面付
但大宮彦右衛門次へ罷出候様

以手紙得御意候然者御内達之儀御評議有之候処御本丸御座所出勤之節御

半減中千石未満都而持馬御免之処金津奉行之儀ハ先例之通役儀ニ付馬繋候様被仰出候尤是迄
馬所持ニ相当ル御役料並百石歩掛り帰歩高ゟ壱歩八厘通二上納御定ニ候得共此後御改革
ニ付帰歩高ゟ壱歩八厘三上納ニ被仰出候
但去々丑年分ゟ右之通ニ可取扱事
右御非常之節三国へ騎馬ニ而罷越候ニ付右之通御評議ニ相成候事

◦田代万貞申聞候ハ是迄奥仲ケ間御殿通行ニハ致帯刀候所今度改而平日致帯刀候様被仰下候ニ付私用ニも致帯刀候夫ニ付表仲ケ間も此
以後平日致帯刀筈ニ候間此段承置候様申聞候
一明和二酉三月十七日御いし共青傘御免候事 一寛政六寅七月廿二日惣御いし暑気之節日傘相用候儀無用之旨被仰出事

但御城内ハ致遠慮候様被仰付候
一享保十三申十一月十六日永田助三親市郎左衛門休息被仰付かとく百石助三へ被下御番改之儀其儘被仰付候得共只今知行取御番改不被仰付故十二月廿六日御役御免
一百七拾五石御杉形奉行之例
元文元辰五月十三日川瀬次大夫御杉形奉行被仰付 但此後二代目百六十五石ニ被減候事
右之移りを以嘉永三戌 川瀬次郎右衛門杉形御鑓奉行被仰付候也

【朱書】2月22日御用部屋
貴殿の祖父・父である藤七郎が続けて金津奉行として格別に出精して勤めたことを思し召しあり、格式を越えて金津奉行を仰せ付けられる。右の御役中の諸事は金津奉行の振る舞いに準じて心得るべきこと。ただし今日、御座所において思し召しあり、格式を越えて金津奉行を仰せ付けられた後、右の通り申し渡されたものである。
右は享和3年（1803）亥2月28日、御用番本多修理方より左の通り申し渡すよう申し聞かされ申し渡した
一、御本丸御礼席では表寄合本席へ入り、右同人は御礼を申し上げること
一、恐悦を申し上げる際は一人別段に申し上げること
一、評定所では正面付き
ただし大宮彦右衛門の次へ罷り出ること
一、御発駕御跡次も右同断
【下段朱書】
一、23日 左の通り藤七郎へ申し達すよう稲葉図書方より申し聞かされた
手紙を以て御意を得た。しかれば御内達の件について御評議があったところ、御本丸御座所出勤の節は御用人部屋に刀を差し置き、その余の件は昨日仰せ達された通り心得るべき旨、御家老中より御申し聞かされた。左様心得るべし。2月23日 平本藤七郎様 奈良太郎右衛門

一、文政12年（1829）丑年、鈴木彦太夫・平本但見両人へ下された御勘定所からの訳書
半減中千石未満は全て持馬御免のところ、金津奉行の件は先例の通り役儀につき馬繋ぎするよう仰せ出された。尤も、これまで馬所持に相当する御役料並びに百石歩掛り帰歩高より一歩八厘通二上納が御定めであったが、この後御改革により帰歩高より一歩八厘三上納に仰せ出された
ただし去々丑年分より右の通りに取り扱うべきこと
右は御非常の節に三国へ騎馬にて罷り越すにつき右の通り御評議になったこと

【行間にあり】
一、享保9年（1724）辰6月16日、有賀玄哲・岡部玄伯は御匙御免席を只今まで通りとするが、両人月番を致し、惣御医師その並びの者共の願取次等を相勤めるべき旨
一、天明元年（1781）丑3月26日、御医師は平日共に帯刀を仰せ付けられたこと
田代万貞が申し聞かせるには、これまで奥仲ヶ間御殿通行には帯刀していたところ、今度改めて平日に帯刀するよう仰せ下されたため私用にも帯刀する。それにつき表仲ヶ間もこの以後平日に帯刀する筈につき、この段承り置くよう申し聞かせた
一、明和2年（1765）酉3月17日、御医師共に青傘を御免されたこと 一、寛政6年（1794）寅7月22日、惣御医師は暑気の節の日傘相用は無用の旨仰せ出されたこと
一、享和3年（1803）亥4月11日、御医師共に青傘御差のこと
ただし御城内は遠慮するよう仰せ付けられた
一、享保13年（1728）申11月16日、永田助三・親市郎左衛門は休息を仰せ付けられ、加徳百石を助三へ下され、御番改の件はそのまま仰せ付けられたが、只今知行取の御番改は仰せ付けられない故、12月26日御役御免
一、百七十五石御杉形奉行の例
元文元年（1736）辰5月13日、川瀬次大夫が御杉形奉行を仰せ付けられた ただしこの後二代目は百六十五石に減らされたこと
右の移りを以て嘉永3年（1850）戌 川瀬次郎右衛門が杉形御鑓奉行を仰せ付けられた

Your grandfather and father Tōshichirō served consecutively as Kanazu magistrate with exceptional dedication, and in recognition of this, you are appointed Kanazu magistrate despite exceeding normal rank requirements. During your tenure, all matters should be conducted according to Kanazu magistrate protocols. However, today at the lord's quarters, this appointment was made despite rank considerations, and the above was communicated afterward.
The above was communicated on the 28th day of 2nd month of Kyōwa 3 (1803) through Honda Shuri of the duty rotation, instructed to relay the following:
1. At main castle ceremonial seating, enter the main assembly seat and offer formal greetings
1. When expressing congratulations, do so individually and separately
1. At the council chamber, take the front position
However, appear after Ōmiya Hikoemon
1. The same applies for lord's departure ceremonies

1. When attending the main castle other than on new/full moon days, leave sword in chamberlain's office and join assembly seating before taking assigned seat
1. For castle return/departure welcome ceremonies, join at chamberlain's level
1. For council attendance, appear after chamberlain and personal attendant level

1. When seated with colleagues and officials at official meetings, sit above the personal attendant level, with one seat's distance from town magistrates

1. On new/full moon ceremonial days, enter the lower chamberlain's room as instructed by the senior councilor

Tenpō 3 (1832)
1. Official seating follows inactive caretaker guard supervisor level

While horse keeping is generally prohibited for those with reduced stipends under 1,000 koku, Kanazu magistrates may keep horses according to precedent due to their official duties. Previously, the standard levy was 1 bu 8 rin per 2 units from role stipend and return rate per 100 koku equivalent to horse keeping, but hereafter due to reforms, the levy is changed to 1 bu 8 rin per 3 units from return rate
This applies from the year before last
This decision was made considering emergency travel to Mikuni on horseback

1. 26th day of 3rd month of Tenmei 1 (1781), physicians were permitted to wear swords on regular days
Tashiro Mansada explained that previously swords were worn when passing through the inner middle quarters of the palace, but now permission was granted to wear swords on regular days, including for private use. Accordingly, the outer middle quarters will also permit sword wearing on regular days hereafter
