一同断町奉行へ之請合証文是又御用達連印ニ而町奉行宛本役同様之事

一御側〆役之儀以来御側向頭取と被相改候左様可被相心得候

一若殿様御ふ役之儀以来御もり役と被仰出候旨尤同字之儀ハ是迄之通御傅役也此時中根靱負勤之
現代語訳
一、享和2年（1802）戌9月19日、御先物頭下山清左衛門の妻が病死し、清左衛門が忌みがかりとなったが、当月は陣屋守の月番であった。しかし先年も御家老中へ相談の上、忌中でも直接守衛を行った例があり、今回も先例の通り直接守衛を行う旨申し聞かされた。
一、文化6年（1809）巳3月11日
山口作右衛門
私が江戸詰の節、御広敷御用人の件について御用達兼帯助として勤務するよう申し付けられた。これにより別紙2通が渡され、このように心得それぞれに申し聞かせるべき旨

御広敷御用達たちは山口作右衛門江戸詰の節、御用人兼帯助として勤務するため、御留守年宅の取扱いで失脚することもあり得るので、1人につき銀15匁ずつ下し置かれる

一、女中取扱いの件について御中老へ御用達より諸事申し達し、指図を受け取り計らうべきこと
一、御広敷御用人支配の小役人格より小算格の者並びに書役まではご奉行の仮支配に申し付けられた。錠前番御小人の件については兼帯助より諸事月番御目付へ相談し取り扱うべきこと
ただし御広敷向きに勤務する者は支配でなくとも、諸事心得として兼帯助より相談すべきこと
一、女中の御関所通行手形請合証文は御用達連印にて宛先を記さず月番御目付へ相談すれば、御目付より御用番へ相談し、通行手形も御目付を以て渡すこと
一、同じく町奉行への請合証文もまた御用達連印にて町奉行宛、本役同様のこと
一、宗門手形は御用達連印にて宛先本役同様のこと
一、御代拝がある場合は御用人が勤めること
右の通り御用達その他にも申し聞かせるべきである
右の通り御広敷御用人御側勤兼 山口作右衛門へ申し渡した。このように心得、女中請合証文御用達連印の件について町奉行へ各々より申し通しておくべきである
ただし山口作右衛門江戸留守中は御目付月番取扱いに申し付けられること
一、享和2年（1802）戌4月27日江戸
そなたに御用人見習いを申し付ける。これにより10人扶持の外に白銀20枚を下し置く。勤め方の件については御用人が申し聞かせる 大道寺主殿
大道寺主殿に御用人見習いを申し付けた。これにより別紙の通り心得として主殿へ申し聞かせるべきである 酒井十之丞

一、同年2月29日、片山登之助が御側向頭取を申し付けられた旨、江戸表より連絡が来る
片山登之助御側向頭取を申し付けられた件について御前において 松平源太郎
申し付けるべき処、当時御仮住居のためその儀がない。この段
登之助へ申し聞かせるべきである。また登之助の席は新番頭上席と申し渡すべきである
一、御側締役の件について以後御側向頭取と改められた。そのように心得るべきである
一、文化13年（1816）子2月9日の立飛脚にて江戸表より左の通り連絡が来る
一、若殿様の御傅役の件について、以後御守役と仰せ出された旨。もっとも同じ字の件についてはこれまでの通り御傅役である。この時中根靱負が勤めていた

1. On the 19th day of 9th month of Kyōwa 2 (1802), the wife of spear unit commander Shimoyama Seizaemon died of illness. Although Seizaemon was in mourning and it was his month for fortress guard duty, there had been a precedent in previous years where, after consultation with the senior retainers, guard duties were performed directly even during mourning periods. This time too, following precedent, he was informed to perform guard duties directly.

Yamaguchi Sakuemon
When I am stationed in Edo, I have been appointed to serve as assistant deputy in charge of women's quarters affairs along with my regular duties. In connection with this, two separate documents have been given, and I should understand this accordingly and inform each person as appropriate.

The deputies in charge of women's quarters affairs, when Yamaguchi Sakuemon is stationed in Edo, will serve as assistant supervisor along with steward duties, so there may be mistakes in handling caretaker residence affairs during absence, therefore 15 monme of silver each is granted to one person.

1. Regarding the handling of female attendants, all matters should be reported from the deputy to the middle-ranking elder and instructions received for action
1. From minor officials under the supervision of women's quarters steward down to clerks of minor accounting rank have been placed under temporary supervision of magistrates. Regarding lock guards and minor attendants, all matters should be reported from the assistant deputy to the monthly duty inspector for handling
However, even those not under direct supervision but working in women's quarters should report all matters to the assistant deputy for guidance
1. Travel permits and guarantee documents for female attendants passing through checkpoints should be co-signed by deputies without specifying addressee and reported to monthly duty inspector, who will then report to the duty officer and deliver travel permits through the inspector
1. Similarly, guarantee documents to town magistrates should also be co-signed by deputies and addressed to town magistrates in the same manner as regular duties
1. Religious sect certificates should be co-signed by deputies with addressee same as regular duties
1. When there is proxy worship, the steward shall perform it
The above should be communicated to deputies and others
The above was conveyed to Yamaguchi Sakuemon, who serves as women's quarters steward concurrent with personal attendance duties. Understanding this, regarding female attendant guarantee documents with deputy co-signatures, each should notify town magistrates accordingly.
However, during Yamaguchi Sakuemon's absence from Edo, monthly duty inspectors are appointed to handle matters
1. 27th day of 4th month of Kyōwa 2 (1802), Edo
You are appointed as steward apprentice. Accordingly, in addition to 10-person stipend, 20 pieces of white silver are granted. Regarding work duties, the steward will inform you Daido-ji Tonomo
Daido-ji Tonomo has been appointed steward apprentice. In connection with this, as outlined in the separate document, this should be communicated to Tonomo for his understanding Sakai Junosuke

Regarding Katayama Tonosuke being appointed head of personal attendants, in the lord's presence Matsudaira Gentaro
this should be announced, but currently due to temporary residence there is no such ceremony. This matter
should be communicated to Tonosuke. Also, Tonosuke's seat rank should be announced as above new unit commander
1. The position of personal attendant supervisor will henceforth be renamed head of personal attendants. This should be understood accordingly
1. By express messenger on the 9th day of 2nd month of Bunka 13 (1816), the following communication came from Edo:
1. Regarding the young lord's tutor position, it will henceforth be called guardian as proclaimed. However, regarding the same character usage, it remains tutor as before. At this time Nakane Yukie was serving in this capacity
