一病身ニ而難相勤暇相願候者有之候ハヽ吟味之上願之通暇申付其上ニ而御目付へ相届可申事
一押込申付候者有之節御目付へ届是迄之通

右書付之趣権之助ゟ月番村田十太夫へ申聞ニ付同役申談之上御家老中へ相伺権之助へ
申達候事 《割書：但右之外ニ別紙書付二通有之物書共預り御用たんす之内諸書付共有之紙袋之内ニ

一御城代組不足之節ハ御先筒組ゟ助申筈此節目付中ゟ御先月番迄申遣筈
ー文政三辰八月八日御城代組之者御定之年数未満之者之跡召抱之儀ニ付彼是六ケ敷儀共有之ニ付則文化五辰年別紙書付
ー△を以御家老中へ相伺候処朱書之通御付有之候ニ付其通及挨拶置候処諸向之振合ニハ相違候趣も有之ニ付此度猶又与力共を以掛合之上御家老中へ相伺候処以後諸向同様古格之通相心得候様可申達旨ニ付其段昨七日於御本丸本多修理へ掛合之上相極候事

候ニ付此度も助番之儀御先物頭へ申達之勤方之儀ハ杉田権之助方ニ而承候様申遣之【朱書】案ニ同日於御本丸御覧有之増番有之ニ付而也目中計之節ハ
御留守組ゟ助合候故此方取扱ニ不及事
一文化元子九月廿五日高田孫左衛門組小原大助与申者大正寺ニ而慈光院住僧ハ右大助親類
之処無拠用事有之明廿六日ゟ二宿泊罷越度旨相願候ニ付願之通申付候旨申聞候大助儀も
右同様往来断申聞候
一享和二戌四月御持組江戸表へ出立之節御勘定所ニ而左之通先触出ル

右ハ松平御名殿家中之者今月十六日国許為立東海道通江戸へ被指掛候間宿々馬無滞被出候様頼

一同年五月廿六日村田十大夫組岡永左衛門与申者不埒之儀有之御扶持召放尤御家中奉公も差
留候旨其後左之通口上書差出置候処勝手次第召抱候様被仰出候事

一、文化五年辰閏六月、御城代杉田権之助組取扱の件について掛合があり、御家老中へ相談して挨拶した一件
覚
組の者取扱について
一、組の者で年数を満たした者が願い出て交代する場合、および病死した者の取扱いについては、御目付へ届け出ること、これまで通り
一、勤務年数未満の者が願い出て交代する場合、および病死した者について御目付へ届け出ることは、勤務年数を満たした者と同様とする
【付紙 御目付へ相談の上取扱うべきこと 御家老中の御付紙である】
但し後任者を入れるか、それとも株仲間に取らせるかの取扱いについて、相当な理由があれば御目付へ内談して取扱うこと
一、組の者に不届きなことがあり押込を申し付ける際は、御目付へ届け出ること、これまで通り
一、扶持を取り上げるべき者があれば、御目付へ内談して取扱うこと。後任者などのことも内談の上取扱うこと
一、私の判断で交代させるべき者があれば、交代を申し付けた上で御目付へ相談すること
但しこの後のことは勤務年数次第で、病死した者と同様とする
中嶋焔硝御蔵番人および諸口留の者共の取扱い
一、病身で勤務し難く暇を願う者があれば、吟味の上願い通り暇を申し付け、その上で御目付へ相談すること
一、押込を申し付ける者がある際は、御目付へ届け出ること、これまで通り
一、御扶持を取り上げるほどの者があれば、御目付へ内談して取扱うこと
閏六月 杉田権之助
右書付の趣旨を権之助より月番村田十太夫へ申し聞かせたところ、同役で申し談じて御家老中へ相談し、権之助へ申し伝えたこと 《割書：但し右の外に別紙書付二通があり、物書共が預かり、御用たんすの内の諸書付共がある紙袋の内に入れ置いた》
一、御城代組が不足の節は御先筒組より助けることになっている。この節、目付中より御先月番まで申し遣わすことになっている
一、文政三年辰八月八日、御城代組の者で御定の年数未満の者の後任召し抱えについて、あれこれ六ケ敷い件があったので、文化五年辰年別紙書付を以って御家老中へ相談したところ、朱書の通り御付があったのでその通り挨拶しておいたが、諸向の振合いには相違する趣旨もあったので、この度さらに与力共を以って掛合いの上御家老中へ相談したところ、以後諸向同様古格の通り心得るよう申し伝えるべき旨があったので、その件について昨七日、御本丸において本多修理へ掛合いの上決定したこと
一、文政三年辰八月八日、御城代組のことについてあれこれ諸組とは相違することがあり御家老中へ相談したところ、諸組同様に取扱うべき旨を申し聞かされたので、以後参考にして諸事留にも詳しく記し置いたこと
一、文化五年辰八月二十二日、明二十三日御城代組が目中（射撃訓練）のため繰上げ番四人が不足したので、寛政十二年申八月、文化三年寅八月の先例の通り、御先筒組四人を取り人するよう相達したところ、この度も助番のことを御先物頭へ申し伝え、勤務方法については杉田権之助方で承るよう申し遣わした【朱書】案では同日御本丸において御覧があり増番があったためである。目中のみの節は御留守組より助合うのでこちらで取扱う必要はない
一、文化元年子九月二十五日、高田孫左衛門組小原大助という者が大正寺において、慈光院住僧は右大助の親類であるが、やむを得ない用事があり明二十六日より二宿泊で参りたい旨相願ったので、願いの通り申し付けた旨申し聞かせた。大助も右同様往来を断ったと申し聞かせた
一、享和二年戌四月、御持組が江戸表へ出立の節、御勘定所にて左の通り先触れを出した

一、駄荷馬五疋 一文化九年申年には足軽と記した
右は松平御名殿家中の者が今月十六日国許を立って東海道を通り江戸へ向かうので、宿々で馬を滞りなく出してもらうよう頼み入る。以上 戌四月十四日 江州中河内より武州品川まで宿々問屋中へ

Intercalary 6th month Sugita Gonnosuke
The above document's contents were communicated by Gonnosuke to monthly duty officer Murata Jūtayū, who discussed with colleagues and consulted the senior councillors, then informed Gonnosuke 《Note: Besides the above, there are two additional attached documents, kept by clerks and placed in paper bags containing various documents in the official chest》
1. When the castellan's group is short-staffed, they are to be assisted by the advance musket group. At this time, it is arranged to send word from the inspectors to the advance monthly duty officer.
1. On the 8th day of the 8th month of Bunpō 3 (1820), regarding the employment of successors for members of the castellan's group who had not completed the prescribed years of service, various difficult matters arose, so consultation was made with the senior councillors using the attached document from Bunka 5. Following the red-ink annotations provided, arrangements were made accordingly, but as there were discrepancies with practices in other departments, this time further consultation was made with the senior councillors through the yoriki. It was decided that henceforth practices should follow the ancient precedents common to all departments, so this matter was settled yesterday the 7th through consultation with Honda Shuri at the main castle.

On the 22nd day of the 8th month of Bunka 5, for target practice on the 23rd, the castellan's group was short four rotating guards, so following precedents from the 8th month of Kansei 12 (1800) and 8th month of Bunka 3 (1806), orders were given to deploy four men from the advance musket group. For this occasion as well, the matter of assistance was communicated to the advance commander, with instructions that duty arrangements should be confirmed with Sugita Gonnosuke's office.【Red note】According to the plan, on the same day there was an inspection at the main castle with additional guards assigned. On the 25th day of the 9th month of Bunka 1 (1804), a man named Ohara Daisuke from Takada Magozaemon's group requested to visit Daishōji temple for two nights starting the 26th due to unavoidable business, as the abbot Jikōin was Daisuke's relative. Permission was granted as requested. Daisuke similarly requested permission for travel.
1. In the 4th month of Kyōwa 2 (1802), when the personal guard unit departed for Edo, the accounting office issued the following advance notice:

1. On the 26th day of the 5th month of the same year, a man named Oka Eizaemon from Murata Jūtayū's group committed misconduct, had his stipend revoked, and was banned from serving in the domain. Subsequently, a written petition was submitted as follows, and permission was granted for employment at his discretion.
