一元文四未年八月御側物頭長谷川武右衛門組堀太郎兵衛与申者於江戸表病気ニ付御国へ御返シ
被下候ニ付其節仮預り御側物頭大木与右衛門相願道中駕籠ニ而罷越候ニ付金子五両
弐歩拝借被仰付且又右太郎兵衛道中為介抱同組之者壱人罷越候ニ付此者へ金子壱
両弐歩被下置候旨岡部左膳方被申聞候事留有之
一寛保三亥年七月御側武頭長谷部小右衛門組内田市大夫与申者江戸表ニ相詰罷在候処抜口明へ
御抜シ被下候者ニ付御国へ御返し被成候尤道中十一泊雑用馬銀御定之八人壱疋其外御
扶持方小雑用等受取相渡候事留有之
一同二戌年◦十二月六日於江戸表御目付組用人向後御詰年銀三拾匁御留守年銀拾五匁被下候

一宝暦四戌年御目付熊谷小兵衛組高村忠右衛門与申者於江戸表病気急ニ快気可
致様子ニ無之御国へ相帰候様致度候得共過分之物入有之ニ付其段仮預加藤長右衛門迄相
歎候ニ付長右衛門口上書を以拝借金三両相願候処御吟味之上金弐両弐歩御貸被成仍之
仲間之者壱人指添御国表へ相返し候事留有之
一文化二丑年御先物頭平岡金左衛門組中野立左衛門闕所之株金分役六人へ被下之
右ニ付勤年数割合を以配当致頂戴候由
一安永九子年五月廿二日志比領へ狼出候ニ付鳥打組両人被差遣候処壱疋打留其後出
不申趣ニ付右組之者両人へ銀三拾匁為御酒代被下之
一天明二寅年三月十一日志比領右同断ニ付鳥打組両人被差越候処大月村地之上ニ而打
留候仍之六月十五日右両人之者へ三拾匁御内御用として受取御酒代被下之
一明和七寅九月御目付杉浦幸右衛門組物書市橋弥三大夫へ御代官手代之明所幸右衛門申受為取候事
右前格ハ大仙寺裏御目付熊谷小兵衛組分役相勤井関茂大夫へ御代官手代之明所被下候事
一文化十三子二月廿九日御城代杉田権之助組石黒仙助与申者養母へ孝心ニ付為御褒美銀弐拾匁被
下置候ニ付月番長谷川武右衛門罷越権之助へ其段相達候得共右等之儀ハ与力申遣候而申達候而も宜
可有之与申談置候事且又右銀子之儀ハ御奉行ゟ受取権之助与力召呼相渡候事
但権之助御礼之儀ハ給人使者を以御用番迄可申上筈此儀御家老中へ相伺候上申聞之候事

一私共物書之儀ハ御勘定所小坊主同様拾七年相勤候得ハ組株壱ツ被下置筈ニ去ル文化九申年被
仰出候処此度小坊主広部万弥拾二年目ニ而表御坊主へ御抜被下尤御内御規定之通拾七
年相満候迄ハ矢張是迄被下候通八俵弐人扶持被下置候ハヽ私共物書之儀も右ニ准シ以来
拾弐年ゟ拾六年迄之内相勤候者組株被下候様相願候ハヽ株金上納之上組株壱ツ可被下置事
現代語訳
一、元文四年未年八月 御側物頭長谷川武右衛門組の堀太郎兵衛という者が江戸表において病気になったため御国へ御返しいただくことになり、その節仮預かりの御側物頭大木与右衛門が願い出て、道中駕籠で赴くため金子五両二歩の拝借を仰せ付けられ、また右太郎兵衛の道中介抱のため同組の者一人が赴くことになり、この者へ金子一両二歩を下賜した旨を岡部左膳方より申し聞かされた記録がある。
一、寛保三年亥年七月 御側物頭長谷部小右衛門組の内田市大夫という者が江戸表に詰めて在住していたところ、抜口明けで御抜きいただく者のため御国へ御返しになった。もっとも道中十一泊の雑用馬銀、御定めの八人一匹、その外御扶持方小雑用等を受け取り相渡しした記録がある。
一、同二年戌年・十二月六日 江戸表において御目付組用人は今後御詰年に銀三十匁、御留守年に銀十五匁を下賜する記録がある。ただしこれまでは御詰年四十匁、御留守年二十二匁五分であった。
一、延享三年寅年 御目付物書へ失却金一両ずつを今後下賜し、また江戸詰めの節には馬一匹ずつを下賜する記録がある。
一、宝暦四年戌年 御目付熊谷小兵衛組の高村忠右衛門という者が江戸表において病気になり急に快気する様子もなく御国へ帰りたいが過分な物入りがあるため、その段を仮預かりの加藤長右衛門まで相談したところ、長右衛門が口上書をもって拝借金三両を願い出たが、御吟味の上金二両二分を御貸しになり、仲間の者一人を付き添わせて御国表へ返した記録がある。
一、文化二年丑年 御先物頭平岡金左衛門組の中野立左衛門の欠所の株金を分役六人へ下賜した。右について勤務年数の割合をもって配当して頂戴した由。
一、安永九年子年五月二十二日 志比領へ狼が出たため鳥打組両人を差し遣わしたところ一匹を打ち止め、その後出ないという趣のため、右組の者両人へ銀三十匁を御酒代として下賜した。
一、天明二年寅年三月十一日 志比領で右同断のため鳥打組両人を差し越したところ、大月村地の上で打ち止めた。よって六月十五日右両人の者へ三十匁を御内御用として受け取り御酒代を下賜した。
一、明和七年寅年九月 御目付杉浦幸右衛門組物書市橋弥三大夫へ御代官手代の明き所を幸右衛門が申し受けて取らせた。右の先例は大仙寺裏で御目付熊谷小兵衛組分役を勤めた井関茂大夫へ御代官手代の明き所を下賜したことである。
一、文化十三年子年二月二十九日 御城代杉田権之助組の石黒仙助という者の養母への孝心について御褒美として銀二十匁を下賜したため、月番長谷川武右衛門が赴いて権之助へその段を申し達したが、右等の儀は与力を申し遣わして申し達しても宜しいであろうと申し談じ置いた。また右銀子の儀は御奉行より受け取り権之助の与力を召し呼んで相渡した。ただし権之助の御礼の儀は給人使者をもって御用番まで申し上げる筈で、この儀は御家老中へ相伺いの上申し聞かせた。
一、文政元年寅年七月 御家老中へ左の通り相伺いの上その通り仰せ付けられた。
一、私共物書の儀は御勘定所小坊主同様十七年相勤めれば組株一つを下賜する筈に去る文化九年申年に仰せ出されたところ、この度小坊主広部万弥が十二年目にして表御坊主へ御抜きいただき、もっとも御内御規定の通り十七年相満つまでは矢張これまで下賜された通り八俵二人扶持を下賜されるならば、私共物書の儀も右に準じて以来十二年より十六年までの内相勤めた者に組株を下賜するよう相願えば、株金上納の上組株一つを下賜いただけること。

Genbun 4, Year of the Sheep, 8th month: When Hori Tarōbei from Hasegawa Buemon's group of personal attendant captains fell ill in Edo and was to be returned home, temporary supervisor Ōki Yoemon of the personal attendant captains made a request. For the palanquin journey, a loan of 5 ryō and 2 bu was granted. Additionally, one person from the same group accompanied Tarōbei as caretaker during the journey and was granted 1 ryō and 2 bu, as conveyed by Okabe Sazen.
1. Kanpō 3, Year of the Boar, 7th month: Uchida Ichidayū from Hasebe Koemon's group of personal attendant captains, who was stationed in Edo, was returned home after being relieved from nukiguchi duty. Travel expenses for eleven nights, horse fees for the regulation eight men and one horse, stipend allowances, and miscellaneous small expenses were received and distributed.
1. Same 2nd year, Year of the Dog, 12th month, 6th day: For inspector group clerks in Edo, henceforth 30 momme of silver for duty years and 15 momme for leave years were to be granted. Previously it had been 40 momme for duty years and 22 momme 5 bu for leave years.
1. Enkyō 3, Year of the Tiger: Inspector scribes were henceforth granted 1 ryō each in compensation money, and one horse each when stationed in Edo.
1. Hōreki 4, Year of the Dog: Takamura Chūemon from Inspector Kumagai Kobei's group fell ill in Edo with no prospect of quick recovery and wished to return home, but faced considerable expenses. He consulted temporary supervisor Katō Chōemon, who submitted a written request for a 3 ryō loan. After deliberation, 2 ryō and 2 bu were lent, and he was returned home accompanied by one colleague.
1. Bunka 2, Year of the Ox: The vacancy fund from Nakano Tatesaemon of advance captain Hiraoka Kinzaemon's group was granted to six assistant officials, distributed according to years of service.
1. An'ei 9, Year of the Rat, 5th month, 22nd day: When wolves appeared in Shihi territory, two bird hunters were dispatched and killed one wolf. As no more appeared afterward, the two hunters were granted 30 momme in silver as sake money.
1. Tenmei 2, Year of the Tiger, 3rd month, 11th day: For the same situation in Shihi territory, two bird hunters were sent and killed wolves at Ōtsuki village. On the 6th month, 15th day, the two men received 30 momme for interior duties as sake money.
1. Meiwa 7, Year of the Tiger, 9th month: Inspector Sugiura Kōemon arranged for his group scribe Ichihashi Yasandayū to receive a deputy magistrate position. The precedent was when Iseki Shigedayū, who served as assistant in Inspector Kumagai Kobei's group at Daisenji temple, was granted a deputy magistrate position.
1. Bunka 13, Year of the Rat, 2nd month, 29th day: Ishiguro Sensuke from Castle Deputy Sugita Gonnosuke's group was granted 20 momme in silver as reward for filial piety toward his adoptive mother. Monthly duty officer Hasegawa Buemon went to convey this to Gonnosuke, though it was agreed that such matters could also be handled by sending a yoriki retainer. The silver was received from the magistrate and handed over through Gonnosuke's yoriki. Gonnosuke's formal thanks were to be conveyed to the duty officer through a stipend recipient messenger, as consulted with the senior councilors.

Regarding our scribes, like the accounting office pages, after seventeen years of service they are granted one group position, as announced in Bunka 9. Recently, page Hirobe Manya was promoted to formal page status after twelve years, and according to interior regulations, until completing seventeen years, he continues receiving the previous allowance of 8 hyō and 2-person stipend. We request that our scribes similarly be granted group positions for those serving between twelve and sixteen years, with one group position granted upon payment of the position fee.
