下馬まで肩に担いで、そこから駕籠で宿へ送り届けた。

一 文政13年（1830年）、笹川藤内組の林忠左衛門を新番所へ抜擢したことについては、諸組抜口の部に記載されている。

一 文化8年（1811年）閏2月、御金土蔵番の松田久右衛門の地名子（借地人）の素行が良くないとの報告があったため、その地名子である「りゐ」という寡婦を立ち退かせるよう、久右衛門を呼び出して申し渡した。その件について、借地の家主である与右衛門という者にも早急に申し付けて立ち退かせた旨を改めて報告した。

一 享和3年（1803年）9月6日、これまで御金土蔵番人に欠員が生じた場合は塩硝蔵番人から繰り上げで補充することもあったようだが、この方法について小頭らに異議がないか確認したところ、問題があるようであれば今後は両番所間の繰り上げは取り止め、今後は繰り上げを行わない旨を申し渡した。塩硝蔵番人の松田久右衛門にも組小頭を通じて同様の趣旨を伝えた。原本のまま記録する。

一 文化元年（1804年）12月15日、御金土蔵番の上田元右衛門が当年8月24日夕方に病死した。ところが御扶持方役所から頂戴していた扶持米を返納するよう申し出があったため、調べたところ、これまで頂戴していない扶持米の返納ということは聞いたことがないので返納しないよう願い出た。その件について御奉行に問い合わせたところ、8月24日に亡くなった場合は同月末日まで扶持米を支給する規定があり、また8月24日以降に亡くなった場合は翌月末まで扶持米を支給するとの回答があったため、その旨を申し付けた。

一 文化5年（1808年）、御金土蔵番の大越金蔵から報告があった。私の拝領地に住んでいる堀端の油屋弥三右衛門後家のもとに、このたび大黒屋藤七という者が借家することになった。寺請証文や請証文は私のもとに保管している旨を書面で報告してきたため、その件を町奉行に報告した。

一 文化6年（1809年）3月27日、前記の大越金蔵の地名子である油屋弥三右衛門後家がこのたび転居し、その跡に太平喜右衛門という者が住居することになったため、吟味の上、寺請証文等を保管している旨を報告してきた。この地名子の交代について町奉行に報告した。

一 文化8年（1811年）2月26日、御金土蔵番の帰山太兵衛が先月山崎勇左衛門の跡に抜擢されたため、その者の拝領地の地名子および請人の名簿、さらに同様に梅田二右衛門についても同様の書面を作成し、両方とも町奉行に報告した。この地名子の書面は御用箪笥に保管した。

一 同年3月22日、御金土蔵番の山田又左衛門の地名子である清六という者の素行に問題があったため、先日定められた通りに処置したところ、その跡に別紙記載の者らを置きたい旨の申し出があったため、その件を町奉行に報告した。

一 明和5年（1768年）12月19日、御土蔵下番人の御城内での高下駄着用見逃しについて、従来通り見逃すべき旨の記録があり、その切手は御門の部に記載されている。

一 御金土蔵番人が極めて高齢になった場合に息子を助番として出すことについて、月番留書の中に記載がある。

一 文政4年（1821年）4月15日、月番の鈴木十左衛門殿から申し入れがあった。御金土蔵番の藤井宇左衛門が極めて高齢になり、雨天や風雪の際に高下駄で番所に出勤するのが困難になったと聞いている。ついては雨天風雪の際には息子を助番として出しても差し支えない旨を申し渡したので、その旨心得ておくようにとの連絡があった。

一 嘉永元年（1848年）11月、牧田利作が同様の願いを出したため、願いの通り養子の幾次を代番とすることを申し渡し、ついでに御家老中にも報告した。

一 享和2年（1802年）9月15日、御金土蔵の錠前封印が切られ、箱が散乱していることが判明したため、その他の取り扱いについて記録がある。この際、御金土蔵番人の勤務状況を確認したところ、古来より封印の確認を行い、相違ない旨の報告があった。御土蔵囲いの内部を見回り

One: In the intercalary 2nd month of Bunka 8 (1811), regarding the gold storehouse guard Matsuda Kyūemon, reports came that his tenant's conduct was improper. The tenant, a widow named "Rii," was ordered to vacate, and Kyūemon was summoned and instructed accordingly. This matter was also promptly communicated to Yoemon, who was the landlord of the rented property, and he reported that the eviction had been carried out.

One: On the 6th day of the 9th month of Kyōwa 3 (1803), when vacancies occurred among the gold storehouse guards, it had been customary to promote saltpeter storehouse guards to fill these positions. When the squad leaders were consulted about whether they had any objections to this practice, it was decided that if there were problems, promotions between both guard posts would be discontinued, and no future promotions would occur. The same instructions were conveyed to Matsuda Kyūemon, a saltpeter storehouse guard, through his squad leader. This is recorded as per the original document.

One: On the 15th day of the 12th month of Bunka 1 (1804), gold storehouse guard Ueda Motoemon died of illness on the evening of the 24th day of the 8th month of that year. The stipend office requested the return of the rice stipend he had been receiving. Upon investigation, since there was no precedent for returning stipends that had not been received, a request was made not to return them. When this matter was referred to the magistrate, it was explained that according to regulations, if someone died on the 24th of the 8th month, stipends would be provided until the end of that month, and if death occurred after the 24th of the 8th month, stipends would continue until the end of the following month. Instructions were given accordingly.

One: In Bunka 5 (1808), gold storehouse guard Ōkoshi Kinzō reported that on his granted land, a person named Daikokuya Tōshichi had rented quarters from the widow of oil merchant Miyaemon at Horibata. He submitted a written report stating that he was keeping the temple certificate and guarantee documents. This matter was reported to the town magistrate.

One: On the 27th day of the 3rd month of Bunka 6 (1809), the aforementioned Ōkoshi Kinzō's tenant, the widow of oil merchant Miyaemon, moved away, and a person named Taihei Kiemon took residence in her place. After investigation, it was reported that temple certificates and other documents were being kept. This tenant change was reported to the town magistrate.

One: On the 26th day of the 2nd month of Bunka 8 (1811), gold storehouse guard Kaeriyama Tahei was promoted to replace Yamazaki Yūzaemon the previous month. Documents listing his granted land tenants and guarantors, as well as similar documents for Umeda Niemon, were prepared and both sets were reported to the town magistrate. These tenant documents were stored in the official chest.

One: On the 22nd day of the 3rd month of the same year, gold storehouse guard Yamada Matazaemon reported problems with the conduct of his tenant named Seiroku, and after dealing with this according to established procedures, he requested permission to place the persons listed in the attached document in that location. This matter was reported to the town magistrate.

One: On the 19th day of the 12th month of Meiwa 5 (1768), regarding the overlooking of storehouse guards wearing high geta (wooden clogs) within the castle grounds, there is a record stating that this should continue to be overlooked as before, with the permit document recorded in the castle gate section.

One: Regarding gold storehouse guards who become extremely elderly having their sons serve as assistant guards, this is recorded in the monthly duty records.

One: On the 15th day of the 4th month of Bunsei 4 (1821), monthly duty officer Suzuki Jūzaemon reported that gold storehouse guard Fujii Uzaemon had become extremely elderly and found it difficult to come to the guard post wearing high geta during rainy or snowy weather. Therefore, permission was granted for his son to serve as assistant guard during such weather, and instructions were given to keep this in mind.

One: In the 11th month of Kaei 1 (1848), Makita Risaku made a similar request, and as requested, his adopted son Ikunji was appointed as substitute guard, with this matter also reported to the senior councilors.

One: On the 15th day of the 9th month of Kyōwa 2 (1802), it was discovered that the lock seals of the gold storehouse had been cut and boxes were scattered about. There are records of other related matters. At this time, when the duties of the gold storehouse guards were investigated, it was reported that seal inspections had been conducted since ancient times with no discrepancies found.
