【右丁】  水入なし船場上村四軒外に禅宗正応 寺屋敷辻堂壱軒此寺は前度焼失此節 は寺なし右除ケる御番所御高札船有不 残水入野平新田造り酒屋壱軒是は大塚 ゟ出張也瀬口はゞ下五軒右水入古坂久保 四軒内壱軒舟頭水入船有右之村々図 之通是ゟ上松本御領所込地川へどふさ し込み松本御領分三清寺松尾の瀧 水たたゑ瀧なしになり但金熊沢へはどふ 不差水さき松本御領所雪根之下北東之 【左丁】 間ノ沢誠に如満海ノにて諸人之歎如之秋 ノ依之荒場何れ之 御城主様よりも荒場所江御出張有之 松本様よりは御領分三清寺并に水入之 場所御心配にて同四月四日に御到來大日向村 役宅に御止宿 御代官 高橋土岐左衛門様 御手代 高橋 隆  蔵様 御同心 新井佐七右衛門様     岩井浦右衛門様

【右丁】 水没なし。船場上村四軒、その外に禅宗正応寺の屋敷・辻堂一軒あり。この寺は以前に焼失しており、この時点では寺はない。右(の村々)は(水難を)免れた。御番所・高札場あり、船あり、全て水没。野平(は)新田造り・酒造業者一軒あり。これは大塚より出張(したもの)である。瀬口は幅(が広く)、下五軒は水没。古坂久保四軒、うち一軒は舟頭(の家で)水没、船あり。右の村々は(別添の)図の通り。これより上(は)松本御領所(となり)、込地川へ土砂が差し込み(塞いで)、松本御領分の三清寺(では)松尾の滝に水が溜まって滝がなくなった。ただし金熊沢へは土砂は差さず、水(が)先へ(流れた)。松本御領所・雪根の下・北東の 【左丁】 間の沢は、まさに満海のごとくにて、諸人の嘆き、かくのごとし。秋(に至っても)荒れ場所(が残り)、何れの御城主様からも荒れ場所へ御出張がございました。 松本様(松本藩)からは、御領分の三清寺並びに水没の場所を御心配のため、同(弘化四年)四月四日に御到来(され)、大日向村の役宅に御止宿(されました)。  御代官 高橋土岐左衛門様  御手代 高橋 隆 蔵様  御同心 新井佐七右衛門様      岩井浦右衛門様

**Right folio:** (This area) suffered no flooding. Funaba Kami-mura: 4 households, and additionally the Zen sect Shōō-ji's residential compound and a wayside hall (辻堂, tsujidō). This temple had previously burned down and no longer existed at this time. The aforementioned (village) was spared. There is an official checkpoint and an official notice board; there are boats; all (else) was completely submerged. Nohira (had) one newly developed paddy field and one sake brewery — this (operator) had come out from Ōtsuka as a branch establishment. The width at Seguchi (was considerable); the lower five households were inundated. Furusaka-Kubo: 4 households, of which one — belonging to a boatman — was flooded; there are boats. The aforementioned villages are (shown) as per the attached map. From here upward is Matsumoto domain territory; the Komichi River was blocked by sediment/debris, and at Sansei-ji temple within Matsumoto domain, the Matsuo Falls filled with water and the falls disappeared. However, no debris reached Kanikuma-zawa, and the water flowed onward. (In) Matsumoto domain, below Yukine, in the northeast— **Left folio:** —the valley streams were truly like a vast sea, and the lamentation of all people was as (described) here. Even into autumn, devastated areas remained, and from every domain lord, officials were dispatched to the devastated areas.
