一 同日、金津奉行奈良忠左衛門【割書：高｜当】支配下、ならびに中領支配下の村々の百姓共のうち、百人余りが浜町河原へ集まり、そこから御用達町人・美濃屋喜左衛門方へ罷り越し、酒桶などに狼藉を致し、夜に入って引き退いた。
一 三月二十五日、巳の中刻、常盤橋御屋形にて、致姫様が御安産にて若殿様がお誕生になった。これにより、御国許へ御使いとして、御目付一柳新九郎【割書：英｜勝】、大御番桜井市之進【割書：応｜輿】が、道中五日の日程で差し遣わされた。
一 同日、右同断につき、御用番松平右京大夫【割書：輝｜高】殿が、西丸御老中板倉佐渡守【割書：勝｜清】殿へ、御留守居小林又右衛門【割書：政｜方】をもって、左の通り御届書を差し出された。
拙者妻、今二十五日巳中、出産、男子出生致し候。
これにより、四月二日まで産褥に罷り在り候。この段御届け申し候。以上。

(Continued from the previous page) [Two of the headmen] were placed under house confinement (oshikomi); thirty-one others, who despite ordinarily living in a fitting manner had made inappropriate petitions, were ordered imprisoned (nyūrō).
One: On the same day, over one hundred peasants from villages under the authority of the Kanazu Magistrate (bugyō) Nara Chūzaemon [personal name: Takamasa] and those under the Nakakyō domain authority gathered at the Hamachō riverbank, then proceeded to the establishment of Minoya Kizaemon, a merchant in service to the domain (go-yōtashi chōnin), where they committed acts of violence (rōzeki) against sake barrels and the like, before withdrawing as night fell.
One: On the twenty-fifth day of the third month, at the middle of the Hour of the Snake (approximately 10 a.m.), at the Tokiwabashi residence, Lady Itashi gave birth safely, and the Young Lord was born. In consequence, Inspector (metsuke) Ichiyanagi Shinkunirō [personal name: Eishō] and Senior Guard (ō-goban) Sakurai Ichinoshin [personal name: Ōkyo] were dispatched to the home domain, the journey estimated at five days.
One: On the same day, in connection with the above, the Duty Senior Councillor (go-yōban) Matsudaira Ukyō-no-Daibu [personal name: Terutaka] submitted the following notification letter to the Senior Councillor of the Western Enclosure (Nishi-maru go-rōjū), Lord Itakura Sado-no-Kami [personal name: Katsukiyo], through the Resident Agent (go-rusuoi) Kobayashi Matauemon [personal name: Masamichi]:
My wife gave birth on this twenty-fifth day, at the middle of the Hour of the Snake, delivering a boy.
Accordingly, she will remain in confinement until the second day of the fourth month. I hereby submit this notification. Respectfully,
