事度〻聞およびたる事也かねてわかき
人〳〵には言聞（いゝきか）せよくつゝしむべき
事
一 蚊（か）屋の内（うち）へたはこの火を入べからず若（もし）火を
かやのうちへ入｜酒（さけ）に酔（ゑい）かくたひれたる時
ねむりて蚊（か）屋のすそに火の移る事
あるもの也もし火災とならは釣（つり）手を
早（はや）く切（きり）おとし畳（たゝみ）か薄（うす）べりを打懸
て消（けす）へし若（もし）内（うち）に商人（しやうにん）か老人（としより）あらば
敷物（しきもの））ともに引出（ひきいだ）して防（ふせ）くべしまた
戸せうじに火の付（つき）たるにも打（うち）たをし

うちて加｜勢（せい）をうけて防（ふせぐ）べしすべて少（すこし）の
現代語訳
事は度々聞き及んだことである。あらかじめ若い人々にはよく言い聞かせ、慎むべきことである。
一、蚊帳の中にタバコの火を入れてはならない。もし火を蚊帳の中に入れ、酒に酔って疲れている時に眠って、蚊帳の裾に火が移ることがあるものである。もし火災となったならば、吊り手を早く切り落とし、畳か薄縁を打ちかけて消すべきである。もし中に商人か老人がいるならば、敷物とともに引き出して防ぐべきである。また、戸や障子に火が付いた場合も打ち倒し、薄縁の柄を打ち付けて消すべきことである。
隠居や道心者の寮などその他離れた家に住む人は、あらかじめ拍子木の類の鳴り物を準備しておき、出火・盗人、総じて異変のある時の合図に打って加勢を受けて防ぐべきである。すべて少しの
