尺（じやく）手ぬぐひはきもの廿に面〻｜一人前（ひとりまへ）つゝ
帯（おび）にてくゝり置（おき）兼（かね）て葛籠（つゞら）に入｜上（うへ）に出火の
時きがへいしやうと大文字に書たる札をはり置（おき）
て急火（きうくわ）の節（せつ）うろたへざるやうに残すべき事
一 かは頭巾（ずきん）もたぬ人は木綿（もめん）の袷頭巾（あはせづきん）にしころ
を付てかむるべし女は木めんぬれ手拭（てぬぐひ）をかむ
り三尺手拭にてはら巻（まき）すべしさもなければ
髪（かみ）の毛（け）に火｜付（つく）時は消（けし）かねて難儀（なんぎ）する
ものなりゆへに常（つね）に心かけおくべき事
一 男女（なんによ）ともに常に三尺手拭もめんたび細曳（ほそひき）
はき物をば面〻（めん〳〵）手ちがくにおくべき事
一 風はげしき時は朝夕（てうせき）の食物（しよくもつ）はやくすべし
勿論（もちろん）春（はる）より四月すへまては朝夕（てうせき）ともに食（しよく）
物（もつ）よけいをしたくして置（おく）べき事
一 春中（はるのうち）は常（つね）につかはざるなべかまには水をくみ
いれて置（おく）べし出火（しゆつくは）の節そのまゝ｜置（おき）ても損（そん）ぜ
現代語訳
三尺の手ぬぐい、履物など、一人分ずつを帯で縛って置き、予め葛籠に入れ、上に「出火の時着替え衣装」と大文字で書いた札を貼って置き、急火の際に慌てないようにしておくべきこと
一 革頭巾を持たない人は、木綿の袷頭巾に錏を付けて被るべし。女は木綿の濡れ手拭いを被り、三尺手拭いで腹巻きをするべし。そうしなければ髪の毛に火が付いた時は消すことができず難儀するものであるから、常に心がけておくべきこと
一 男女ともに常に三尺手拭い、木綿足袋、細引き、履物などを各自手の届く所に置くべきこと
一 風が激しい時は朝夕の食事を早く済ますべし。もちろん春から四月末までは朝夕ともに食べ物を多めに用意して置くべきこと
一 春中は常に使わない鍋釜には水を汲み入れて置くべし。出火の節、そのまま置いても損ぜ
