をばすかしおくへしとたひ〳〵｜聲（こゑ）かけて指図（さしづ）
すへしさもなけれは出火といへハたれも心（こゝろ）さわ き立はやまるものなるにそれにいそけよ
はやくせよと噪（さわぐ）ときは殊更（ことさら）うろたへ却（かへつ）て埒（らち）
あかぬものなり是ハ数度（すど）の火事に下知（げぢ）して おほへの有事ゆへ記（しる）し置（おく）事也一 春中（はるのうち）風ふく節上下の人によらす他行（たぎやう）せば 其人数のはたらきはこふ程の家財（かざい）道具 をは蔵へ入させて他行さすべしさすれば急（きう） 火類焼にあいても其もの居合（いあはせ）て働（はたらく）も同 事にて後悔なき事なり 一 大事の節にはやたてを持て益（ゑき）有ものなり 又｜銭（せに）も上下の人によらす面々（めん〳〵）二三百文つゝ持時は不時に人をやとふにも食（しよく）事｜調（とゝのふ）にも急用を弁（べん）じ調宝（てうほう）なり一 火事｜場（ば）へ見舞（まい）に行（ゆか）ばほそ引を腰（こし）に付（つけ）
現代語訳
を騙しておくべしと度々声をかけて指図すべし。そうでなければ、出火と言えば誰でも心騒ぎ立ち慌てるものであるのに、それに「急げよ、早くせよ」と騒ぐときは、殊更うろたえかえって埒が明かないものなり。これは数度の火事に下知して覚えのある事故記し置く事也。
一 春中風吹く節、上下の人によらず他行せば、その人数の働きはこう程の家財道具をば蔵へ入れさせて他行させるべし。そうすれば急火類焼に遭っても、その者居合わせて働くも同事にて後悔なき事なり。
一 大事の節には矢立を持てば益有るものなり。また銭も上下の人によらず面々二三百文ずつ持つ時は、不時に人を雇うにも食事調うにも急用を弁じ重宝なり。
一 火事場へ見舞いに行かば細引を腰に付け
