とりわき小児を生育（をいそだて）するには。天理（てんり）の自然（しぜん）を以（もつ）て
やしなふ時は。医者（いしや）をたよりにせず。薬を用ひずして。
病（やまひ）すくなく身つよきなり。すこしも天然（てんねん）の
道（みち）にそむき。わたくしの才覚（さいかく）を以てそだつれば。
此気をそこなひ病おほくして。そだちがたし。
○此の病は飲食（いんしよく）女色（ぢよしよく）の二欲（によく）より発（おこる）といへども。根本（こんほん）は
娼妓（ぢようろ）と交接（かうせつ）するよりして。此病を受（うく）るなり。
それ娼妓は数千の人にまじはるにより。その汚精（をせい）を

うけて。下部（げぶ）に湿熱（しつねつ）鬱滞（うつたい）してきよからず。これに
交接すれば。その湿熱の気に触感（しよくかん）【左ルビ：フレテウツル】して。下疳（げかん）【左ルビ：ヲヤク】便毒（べんどく）【左ルビ：ヨコネ】を
はつし。それよりいろ〳〵の壊症（ゑしやう）と変（へん）じて。ながく
身をくるしめ。終（つい）に命（いのち）をうしなふなり。娼妓は
瘡毒（さうどく）の府（ふ）【左ルビ：イチグラ】といふべし。此病百人が百人大かた
娼妓よりつたふ。我身より発せしを見ることすくなし。
《割書：余》むかし女閭（ぢようろや）よりたのまれて。おほく此病を治療
せしことあり。いづれの家（いえ）も。娼妓十人あれば七八人は。

とりわけ子どもを育てるには、天理の自然の道理に従って
養う時は、医者に頼らず、薬を用いずして、
病気が少なく身体が強くなる。少しでも天然の
道に背き、自分勝手な考えで育てれば、
この気を損ない病気が多くなって、育ちにくい。
○この病気は飲食と女色の二つの欲から起こるといっても、根本は
遊女と性的関係を持つことによって、この病気にかかるのである。
そもそも遊女は数千の人と関係を持つため、その汚れた精を

受けて、下半身に湿熱が鬱滞して清浄でない。これと
性的関係を持てば、その湿熱の気に感染して、下疳や便毒を
発症し、それから様々な悪い症状に変化して、長く
身を苦しめ、ついには命を失うのである。遊女は
梅毒の巣窟というべきである。この病気は百人が百人、大抵
遊女から伝染する。自分の身から発症したのを見ることは少ない。
《割書：私は》昔、遊廓から頼まれて、多くこの病気を治療
したことがある。どの家も、遊女が十人いれば七、八人は、

Particularly when raising children, if one nurtures them according to
the natural principles of heavenly reason, without relying on doctors or using medicine,
they will have few illnesses and strong bodies. If one deviates even slightly from the natural
way and raises them according to one's own arbitrary ideas,
this vital energy will be damaged, causing many illnesses and making them difficult to raise.
○Although this disease arises from the two desires of food/drink and sexual indulgence, fundamentally
it is contracted through sexual relations with prostitutes.
Prostitutes, having relations with thousands of people, receive their corrupted essence

and harbor impure dampness and heat stagnating in their lower parts. When one has
sexual relations with them, one becomes infected by this damp-heat energy, developing genital ulcers and syphilis,
which then transforms into various corrupting symptoms, causing long-term
bodily suffering and ultimately death. Prostitutes
should be called the repository of venereal poison. Of this disease, out of a hundred people, nearly all hundred
contract it from prostitutes. It is rare to see cases that arise from one's own body.
