○此病に馬肉（ばにく）をくらふものあり。馬肉はもろ〳〵
の本草に毒（どく）ありとみえたり。いまだ医書の中（うち）に。
此病の薬（くすり）餌（くひ）に用ることを見ず。ことに馬は武用（ぶよう）に
そなへ民力（みんりよく）をたすけ国家の用をなすものなれば。
たとひ功験（こうげん）ありとても容易（ようい）にくらふべきにあらず。
そのうへ馬肉は湿熱（しつねつ）大過（たいくわ）のものにして。ます〳〵
毒気（どくき）をますものなれば。かならず。くらふまじきなり。
○下疳（けかん）に膏薬（かうやく）油薬（あふらぐすり）などみだりに敷（つく）るはよろしからず。

又此病 温泉（とうじ）に入べからず。湯治（とうじ）して瘡瘍（てきもの）
だん〳〵と腐（くす）るゝあり。或は早（はや）くいえすぎて痿躄（こしぬけ）と
なるもあり。其害（そのがい）あげていふべからず。常（つね）の
入湯（いりゆ）も熱（あつ）きはわろし。其外庸医の洗薬（あらひぐすり）と
称（しやう）するものに。害（がい）をのこすも往々（おり〳〵）あるなり。
○此病 夫（おつと）にあれば妻（つま）妾（てかけ）に伝（つた）へ。妻妾にあれば夫に
つたふ。又 遺毒（ゆいどく）【左ルビ：ヲヤユヅリノドク】とて子孫にも流伝（りうでん）【左ルビ：ウツシツタフ】す。父母の此病を

○この病気に馬肉を食べる者がある。馬肉は様々な
本草書に毒があると記されている。まだ医学書の中で、
この病気の薬や食事療法に用いることを見たことがない。特に馬は軍事用に
備え、民衆の労働力を助け、国家の役に立つものであるから、
たとえ効果があったとしても容易に食べるべきではない。
そのうえ馬肉は湿熱が非常に強いものであって、ますます
毒気を増すものであるから、必ず食べてはならない。
○下疳に膏薬や油薬などをむやみに塗るのはよくない。

便毒には膏薬を貼って、膿汁を出さなければならない。
またこの病気では温泉に入ってはならない。湯治をして瘡瘍が
だんだんと腐敗することがある。あるいは早く治りすぎて腰が抜けたような状態に
なることもある。その害は言い尽くせないほどである。普通の
入浴も熱いのは悪い。その他、藪医者が洗薬と
称するものによって害を残すことも時々ある。
