壊病（ゑびやう）となして。終身（みをおはるまで）人をなやまさしむ。
それ壊病といふは。誤治（くすりちがい）によりて毒気（どくき）百骸（からだうち）に
結伏（むすびかくれ）し。連綿（れんめん）といへざるなり。始（はしめ）より壊病と
なるの症（しやう）とてはさらになし。みな雑治（わるれうじ）のたゝりを
なして。人をそこなひなやますなり。壊病に
なりては。愈ることも遅（おそ）く死（しぬ）ることも速（すみやか）ならず。
年（とし）を積（つ）み月（つき）をかさねて。いかばかり苦（くる）しむ
ことなり。此ゆへに貧賎（ひんせん）の者は生業（いとなみ）をうし

なひ無告（むこく）【左ルビ：ヤドナシ】の者となり。果（はて）は道路（だうろ）にさまよひ
斃（たふ）れ死す。あはれなる事ならずや。
○峻剤（しゆんざい）といふは。生々乳（せい〳〵にう）。七宝丸（しつはうぐわん）。梅肉丸（はいにくぐわん）。熏薬（いぶしぐすり）。
胆礬（たんはん）。水銀（みづかね）。生漆（きうるし）。巴豆（はづ）。などの加入の薬。此外
いろ〳〵のけやけき薬をいふ。皆それ〳〵の効験（しるし）
あれど。其病に応（をう）ぜざれば。大（おほい）に元気を損傷（そんしやう）す。
実（じつ）に殺人剣（さつじんけん）【左ルビ：ヒトヲコロスツルギ】ともいふべし。世医の中には。此病を
一ヶ年に十人か二十人療治をなして。是等（これら）の

悪化した病気として、終身にわたって人を悩ませる。
そもそも悪化した病気というのは、誤った治療によって毒気が全身に結びついて隠れ、絶え間なく続くものである。最初から悪化した病気となる症状というものは全くない。皆、間違った治療の祟りとなって、人を損ない苦しませるのである。悪化した病気になってしまうと、治ることも遅く死ぬことも速やかでない。
年を重ね月を重ねて、どれほど苦しむことであろうか。このゆえに貧しい身分の者は生業を失い

住む所のない者となり、ついには道路をさまよい倒れ死ぬ。哀れなことではないか。
○強い薬というのは、生々乳、七宝丸、梅肉丸、燻蒸薬、胆礬、水銀、生漆、巴豆などが配合された薬である。この他にも様々な劇的な薬を指す。皆それぞれの効果はあるが、その病気に適合しなければ、大いに元気を損傷する。
まさに人を殺す剣とも言うべきである。世の医師の中には、この病気を一年に十人か二十人治療して、これらの

○Strong medicines refer to drugs containing ingredients such as living milk, Seven Treasures Pills, plum flesh pills, fumigation medicines, chalcanthite, mercury, raw lacquer, croton beans, and others. Besides these, there are various other potent medicines. While each has its own efficacy, if they do not correspond to the disease, they greatly damage one's vital energy.
They can truly be called life-killing swords. Among the physicians of the world, some treat ten or twenty people with this disease in a year, and these
