にとばかりぐづゝき。虻（あぶ）もとらず。蜂（はち）もとらぬ医者
の薬はのむべからず。
○庸医（ようい）の薬をふくして後（のち）。口中たゞれ。歯牙（はきば）ゆるがば。
軽粉剤（けいふんざい）とこゝろえべし。軽粉は。毒烈（どくれつ）の物。肌表（はだへ）を
乾燥（かんそう）するものゆへ。血液（けつゑき）をかはかし。槁（かれ）たる木のうるほひ
なきがごとくにて。津液（しんゑき）の流通（るつう）とゞこほり。口（くち）へばかり
出るがゆへに痰嗽（たんそう）をうれへ。はなはだしきは昼夜（ちうや）
涎（よだれ）沫（あは）をはきつゞけ。唾壺（はいふき）を傍（そば）にはなさずくるしむ

なり。津液（しんゑき）は一身の潤（うるほ）ひにして。化（くわ）して精血（せいけつ）となる
大切のものなり。しかれば庸医にまかせ。かゝる峻劇（しゆんげき）の
薬剤（くすり）をのむべからず。もし軽粉入の薬をふくし
口中そんじ。其外いろ〳〵のたゝりをなさば。白梅（むめぼし）を
煎（せん）じてのむべし。或はそれに黒豆（くろまめ）を加入（くわへいる）もよろしき

まへに。薬料（かひあわせ）となづけ。金銀をむさぼる悪習（わるきしわざ）あり。

にとばかり優柔不断で、虻も取らず蜂も取らない医者の薬は飲んではならない。
○庸医の薬を服用した後、口中がただれ、歯牙がゆるんだならば、軽粉剤と心得るべきである。軽粉は毒性の強い物質で、肌表面を乾燥させるものゆえ、血液を乾かし、枯れた木に潤いがないのと同じようにして、津液の流通が滞り、口へばかり出るがゆえに痰や咳に悩まされ、ひどい場合は昼夜よだれや泡を吐き続け、痰壺を傍らから離さずに苦しむ

のである。津液は全身の潤いであって、変化して精血となる大切なものである。したがって庸医に任せて、このような激しい薬剤を飲んではならない。もし軽粉入りの薬を服用し、口中を損ない、その他いろいろな害をなすならば、白梅を煎じて飲むべきである。あるいはそれに黒豆を加えるのもよろしい。
○庸医の中には、前銀といって諸々の病気ともに、薬を与える前に、薬料と名付けて、金銀をむさぼる悪しき習わしがある。

Therefore, one should not entrust oneself to incompetent doctors and take such harsh medications. If one takes medicine containing mercurous chloride and damages the mouth, causing various other harmful effects, one should decoct dried plums and drink the preparation. Alternatively, adding black beans to it is also good.
○Among incompetent doctors, there is an evil practice called "advance payment" where, regardless of the various diseases, before giving any medicine, they name it "medicine fee" and greedily demand gold and silver.
