わけて此病には此事おほし。これ医の医たるの
主意（しゆい）をしらざるの所為（しわざ）にして。医道のうへの
罪人（つみんど）なり。心のけがれたること言語（ごんご）にたえたり。
これがために財（ざい）を費（ついや）しうしなふ人おほくあり。
しかはいへど。医者のふとゞきのみきのみにもあらず。此病を
患（うれへ）るものは。みな無頼（はふしらず）放蕩（どうらく）もの。或は卑賎（ひせん）の者
なれば。医者の身心（しんじん）を労（ろう）せし事はこゝろづかず。
謝礼（やくれい）といふこともをろそかなるよりをこりし

もつはら商人（あきびと）の心根（こゝろね）にして。みなわがために
利養（りやう）をもとめ。人のうれひを憂（うれい）とせず。不学（もんまう）無術（なにもしらず）の

世人（ひと〴〵）の医をみる眼（まなこ）は。婦女（おんな）の刀（かたな）脇指（わきざし）の飾りを

賢（かしこ）き人も良拙をみわくることかたかるべし。偖（さて）時医（はやりい）を

特にこの病気にはこのことが多い。これは医者としての本来の主旨を知らない行為であって、医道における罪人である。心の汚れたことは言葉では表現しきれない。これがために財産を費やし失う人が多くいる。
しかしながら、医者の不徳だけでもない。この病気を患う者は、皆無頼で放蕩な者、あるいは身分の低い者なので、医者が身心を労したことを心に留めず、謝礼ということもおろそかにすることから起こった
