頭骨に続く骨一本を「すりばち骨」と言い、その次に続く骨五節を「胴骨」という。
【すりばち骨】
この骨から丸切骨までの骨をつなぐ肉を「まはし」と言い、外に「とたん」という肉がある。これは捨てる部分である。こんにゃくより少し軟らかいものである。
【丸切骨】
大骨の次に続く骨である。十三節ある。小口は縦横ともに指渡し八寸ばかり、厚さ六、七寸ばかり。
【にぎり骨】
丸切骨の次に続く。三つ合わせの留めの骨まで十三節ある。小口は横縦ともに指渡し六寸ばかりで、次第に細くなる。
三つ合わせの留めの骨を「ごりん骨」と言い、長さ三、四寸。
【蛤骨】
生殖器の上、赤身の中にある。数は二つ、大きさ四、五寸四方ある。
【輪骨】
生殖器の両方にある。数は二つ、長さ二尺ほど、回り一尺ほどある。
【鞍骨】
丸切骨の両方に付いている。一方に数十三ずつ、高さ一尺ばかりから四、五寸ばかりまで。
【あて骨】
これより先を「阿腹骨」という。左右で数二十八本。
あて骨は胴骨の次に続く骨である。数十四節ある。
小口の指渡しは縦二尺四、五寸、横三尺ばかり、厚さ七寸ばかりある。
【大骨】
大骨はあて骨の次に続く骨である。数十一節。小口の指渡しは縦二尺、横二尺五寸ばかり、厚さ七寸ほどある。

腹にある。長さ二尺、幅一尺五、六寸ばかり、厚さ二寸余ある。両端は薄い。

【Suribachi bone】

The triple-joint anchor bone is called "gorin bone" and is three to four sun in length.
【Hamaguri bone (Clam bone)】
Located in the red meat above the reproductive organs. There are two of them, measuring about four to five sun square.
【Ring bone】
Located on both sides of the reproductive organs. There are two of them, about two shaku in length with a circumference of about one shaku.
【Saddle bone】
Attached to both sides of the marukiri bone. Thirteen on each side, ranging in height from about one shaku to four to five sun.
【Ate bone】
Beyond this are called "afuku bones." Twenty-eight in total on left and right sides.
The ate bone continues after the torso bone. There are fourteen vertebrae.
The cross-section measures about two shaku four to five sun vertically, about three shaku horizontally, with a thickness of about seven sun.
【Large bone】
The large bone follows the ate bone. Eleven vertebrae. The cross-section measures two shaku vertically, about two shaku five sun horizontally, with a thickness of about seven sun.
【Ate bone】
【Turtle bone】
Located in the belly. Two shaku in length, about one shaku five to six sun in width, over two sun in thickness. Both ends are thin.
【Needle bone】
Located under the belly, two bones on each side. About two shaku four to five sun in length.
