をいかにせよとてすてゝはのほり給ふそくして
ゐておはせねとなきてふせれは御心まとひぬ
文を書置てまからんこひしからん折々取出
て見給へとて打なきて書ことはは此国に生れ
ぬるとならはなけかせ奉らぬほとまて侍らて
過わかれぬる事返す〳〵ほゐなくこそ覚侍れ
ぬきをく衣をかた見と見給へ月の出たらん夜
は見をこせ給へ見捨奉りてまかるそらよりも
落ぬへき心地すると書をく天人の中にもたせ
たるはこ有あまの羽衣いれり又あるは不死の
くすり入りひとりの天人云つほなる御くすり

私をどのようにせよと言って捨てて昇天なさるのですか。急いでいないで、ここにいてください」と泣いて伏せると、[かぐや姫の]お心も乱れてしまった。「手紙を書き置いて参りましょう。恋しく思われる時々に取り出してご覧ください」と言って泣きながら書くことには「この国に生まれたのでなければ、これほど嘆かせ申し上げることもなく過ごして、別れることもなかったでしょう。返す返すも残念でならないと思っております。脱ぎ置く衣を形見としてご覧ください。月の出る夜には見上げてください。見捨て申し上げて参る空からも落ちてしまいそうな気持ちがします」と書き置いた。天人の中に持たせている箱がある。天の羽衣が入っている。また別の箱には不死の薬が入っている。一人の天人が言うには「壺なるお薬
