現代語訳
金の無いのは首の無いよりは劣りなり、とはもっともなり。世間には金ほど重宝なものはなし。人の神様をちょろまかし、すでに命にも及ぶところ、金さえあれば波風立たず収まる事、金銀の威徳なり。
金曰く
♪これ神さん、案じることはねえ。私らが高々と来たしょうが、にやあ宿六を頷かして見せようはな。
金曰く
♪豪敵にまたせるぞ、分からねえ男だ。
♪皆ここへ来やな。顔が揃わにやあ、相談ができにくいぜ。
♪これちょっと、私が顔を見なまん、さらでもあるめえす。
♪貴様も男だろう。了見するところもまたせさあなるめえ。そこがそこかのそれ、よしかはて歪なりから起こったこったから、やっぱり歪なりてなけりゃあ収まらぬ。

英語訳
"Having no money is worse than having no head" - this is quite reasonable. In this world, there is nothing as useful as money. It deceives people's gods and even affects their very lives. With money, there are no waves or troubles, and everything settles peacefully - such is the virtue of gold and silver.
