現代語訳
まだ重宝なことがある。とんだ不粋な男が、美しい娘のところへ婿に入るとき、敷金というお金を持参してくるのである。このお金が夫婦仲を支配し、無理を言って我が儘をするのである。
金曰く
♪もっとそっちへ寄ったがいい。気が利かねえ。
金曰く
♪これ、足でも差し出しておじぎをしたがいい。女房のためだ。

♪もしお前が出なさると、私も一緒に行きやすと、娘もよく知っているやつさ。
【婿】
♪てめえなんぼ俺を嫌っても、俺がいざここの内は暗闇だろう。
金曰く
♪これ婿殿、あんまり一杯を言うめえ。お前よりも俺らが娘の気に入っているのさ。
英語訳
There are still other useful things. When an uncouth man enters as a son-in-law to a beautiful daughter's household, he brings money called "shikikin" (security deposit). This money dominates the relationship between husband and wife, making unreasonable demands and acting selfishly.
