お許しになり、遺領も相違なくお下げ置かれ、雁之間詰に
お任じになった旨がお言い渡しになった趣を承知し、ありがたい
仕合わせと存じます。右のお請けを長之助が申し上げます。
右を申し述べ、玄関で立ち戻り、取次に左の通り口上書を
相渡し退散した。

As Inaba Tango-no-kami had petitioned, the adoption has been
approved, the inherited domain has been granted without change, and appointment to Gan-no-ma-zume
has been announced. We acknowledge this and consider it a most grateful
occasion. Chōnosuke respectfully accepts the above.
Having stated the above, I returned to the entrance and handed the following written statement to
the intermediary, then departed.

Regarding myself, as Tango-no-kami had petitioned, the adoption has been
approved, the inherited domain has been granted without change, and appointment to Gan-no-ma-zume
has been announced to my representative Naitō Suruga-no-kami,
which I consider a most grateful occasion. I express gratitude for the above through my representative
due to a headache condition.
