一 用人に呼び出され、同姓の播磨守の病気による隠居・家督願書
提出について伺いを申し上げる旨を述べた。
ただし、付き添いの御先手組の細井出雲守が待合をしており、かつ願書
ならびに容体書は同人が持参した。
一 程なく細井出雲守が参上し、願書・容体書等を
一覧に供した。
一 対客の間へ右京殿が出座され、自分は願書を右手に
持ち、対客の敷居際において名を申し述べ、右京殿と一

1. Regarding the submission of the petition for retirement and succession of Harima-no-kami of the same family name, departed residence before 6 o'clock in the morning.
Wearing a silk summer garment with half formal dress, proceeded to meet with Matsudaira Ukyo-no-taiyu, who was serving as the official on duty.
1. Called by the steward, stated that I would respectfully inquire about the submission of the petition for retirement and succession due to the illness of Harima-no-kami of the same family name.
Note: Hosoi Izumo-no-kami of the advance guard was present as an attendant, and he brought the petition as well as the medical report.
1. Before long, Hosoi Izumo-no-kami arrived and presented the petition, medical report, and other documents for review.
