出てきて、以下の通り口上を申し述べた。
時候の挨拶を申し述べ、かつ丹羽長之助が出向く予定で
あったところ、病気のため名代として私が出向いた。後刻お
言い渡しの席の心得を知りたいので、よろしくお願いしたい旨を申し述べたところ、
ただ今大目付がお見えになり、その際一同でお越しするよう
申し聞かせた。
一、間もなく大目付堀伊豆守がお見えになったので、お言い渡しの席へ
参るよう申し聞かせ、堀伊豆守へ挨拶を申し述べ、一同で打ち
合わせをしておいた。
一、和泉守殿が他の者より少し先に退出する旨、適当な時分に
公用人が案内を申し聞かせてきたので、大書院の廊下の
辺りで様子を見ていたところ、他の御老中が一同でお越しになり、直ちに大書院

came out and made the following oral report:
Made seasonal greetings and explained that while Niwa Chōnosuke was scheduled to come,
due to illness I came as his representative. I stated that I would like to know
the protocol for the announcement ceremony to be held later, and asked for guidance.
In response, I was told that the ōmetsuke (chief inspector) would arrive presently, and at that time
everyone should come together.
1. Soon after, Ōmetsuke Hori Izu-no-kami arrived, so I was told
to proceed to the announcement ceremony seat, offered greetings to Hori Izu-no-kami, and everyone
coordinated together.
1. When it was an appropriate time, the public affairs official informed us that Izumi-no-kami would
withdraw slightly ahead of the others, so while waiting and observing in the area
around the corridor of the ōshoin (grand hall), the other Senior Councilors all arrived together and immediately proceeded to the ōshoin
