【囲みの外】花は一本に一輪ある。花は香り、その香りは蕙蘭（ケイラン）と変わらない。色は少し黄色である。また葉もケイランと同じである。また花の莢がはっきりとあり、莢の色は白、薄黄、青である。茎は薄い青紫色をしている。左伝には「国香」とあり、鄭の文公の妾で燕姞（エンキツ）という人に蘭を与えるという夢を見た。蘭には国香があり、人の目をしてこれに魅了させるという。三月に花が咲く。

The leaves are also the same as those of Keiran. The flower has distinct seed pods, and the color of the pods is white, pale yellow, and blue. The stem has a light blue-purple color. In the Zuo Zhuan (Confucian classic), there is mention of "National Fragrance," where someone dreams of giving an orchid to Yan Ji, a concubine of Duke Wen of Zheng. The orchid has a national fragrance that enchants people's eyes. Flowers bloom in the third month.
