善禅寺のものなりしことは其銘に依て知
ることを得銘に曰はく信州伊那郡伊賀良
庄上河路郷畳秀山開善禅寺文和四乙
未年九月六日再住中山清誾常住修造《割書：云｜ 々》
とあり伝ふる所によれは天正年間織田城
之介信忠公の寄附せるものなりといふ或は
曰ふ戦国の当時某勇士の曳き来りしも
のなりと其何れか真なるを知らす然れと
も此梵鐘は今を距ること数百年の昔
に鋳造されたるものなるを以て古色蒼
然として古代鋳造術の如何を窺ふに
足るものあり

五、鳥の掛物 弐軸
此掛物は紙本にして狩野幽齋守信の
筆に係る元当院檀徒伊藤四郎衛の秘
蔵せるものなりしか明治十年一月同人か当
院に納めたる所のものなり其揮毫年代
は詳ならねと一目古名家の妙筆たるを
知るを得へし
六、洞元禅師行状大画幅 弐軸
此画幅は紙本絹装にて旧高遠藩士雪
山山下元賢氏か弘化三丙午年母の望に
応して揮毫し当院に納めたる所の
ものなり元より古きものにはあらされとも

善禅寺のものであったことは、その銘によって知ることができる。銘には「信州伊那郡伊賀良庄上河路郷畳秀山開善禅寺文和四乙未年九月六日再住中山清誾常住修造」とある。伝えるところによれば、天正年間に織田城之介信忠公が寄附されたものであるという。あるいは、戦国の当時、某勇士が曳き来たりしたものであるという。そのいずれが真実であるかは分からない。しかしながら、この梵鐘は今から数百年の昔に鋳造されたものであるので、古色蒼然として古代鋳造術がどのようなものであったかを窺うに足るものがある。

五、鳥の掛物 弐軸
この掛物は紙本にして狩野幽齋守信の筆に係る。元は当院檀徒伊藤四郎衛が秘蔵していたものであったが、明治十年一月に同人が当院に納めたところのものである。その揮毫年代は詳しくは分からないが、一目で古名家の妙筆であることを知ることができるであろう。
六、洞元禅師行状大画幅 弐軸
この画幅は紙本絹装にて、旧高遠藩士雪山山下元賢氏が弘化三丙午年に母の望に応じて揮毫し、当院に納めたところのものである。元より古いものではないけれども

That it belonged to Kaizen-zenji temple can be known from its inscription. The inscription reads: "Shinshū Ina-gun Igara-shō Kamikawaji-gō Jōshūzan Kaizen-zenji, Bunwa 4, Kinoto-Hitsuji year, September 6th, re-resident Chūzan Seigon, permanent temple construction." According to tradition, it was donated by Lord Oda Jōnosuke Nobutada during the Tenshō era. Or it is said that during the warring states period, a certain warrior brought it here. We do not know which account is true. However, since this temple bell was cast several hundred years ago, it bears an ancient patina and provides sufficient insight into how ancient casting techniques were practiced.

5. Bird hanging scrolls - Two scrolls
These hanging scrolls are on paper and painted by Kanō Yūsai Morinobu. Originally they were treasured by Itō Shirōe, a parishioner of our temple, but in January of Meiji 10 (1877), he donated them to our temple. While the exact date of their creation is not known in detail, one can tell at a glance that they are masterful works by an ancient renowned artist.
6. Large painted scrolls depicting the life of Zen Master Tōgen - Two scrolls
These painted scrolls are on paper with silk mounting. They were painted by Setsuyama Yamashita Genken, a former Takato domain retainer, in Kōka 3, Hinoe-Uma year (1846) in response to his mother's wish, and donated to our temple. While they are not particularly ancient works,
