よりも唐船不相見に付扨は去る廿六日打払に帆帰致せし
ものに而可有とて同七日唐泊を出船し又慈嶋へ漕帰る
都而此在勤中には唐船不相見六月十七日に交代有
四月十六日打払違 上聞事
一 去る四月十六日打払違上聞御感被思召上候段
殿様御登城被遊候節御城に御残被遊結構之
上意も仰蒙之由江戸より御出来有
一 唐船打払之為上使渡辺外記殿小倉若松間に
御滞留被成追払被還御検分其後長崎へ御引取
被成候處に去四月十六日追払違 被聞長崎外記殿

方へ義其旨被仰蒙候よしに而福岡御家老申候外記殿ゟ
参る御書之通之写
去月十六日唐船追払之儀違被聞候之處此度鉄
砲に而打払候致方宜被 思召候此己後漂流之節
も右の通に打払可申之旨被 仰出候右之段可申
浮候由井上河内守殿久世大和守殿戸田山？守殿
御連名之御書面を以（朱字 以）被仰下候間申違候追払被相
勤候面々江も被申浮？無油断可被相心得候為其
現代語訳
「右帖」
からも唐船が見えないため、さては去る二十六日の打払いで帆を返して帰ったのであろうということで、同七日に唐泊を出船し、また慈島へ漕ぎ帰った。
すべてこの在勤中には唐船は見えず、六月十七日に交代があった。
四月十六日打払い違反 上聞の件
一 去る四月十六日の打払い違反について上聞に達し、御感嘆をお思し召し上げられた段、殿様が御登城なされた節、御城にお残りになられ、結構な上意も仰せ蒙ったとのことで、江戸より御出来があった。
一 唐船打払いのため上使渡辺外記殿が小倉・若松間に御滞留なされ、追払いを終えられ御検分の後、長崎へ御引取りなされたところ、去る四月十六日の追払い違反をお聞きになり、長崎の外記殿の
「左帖」
方へその旨を仰せ蒙ったということで、福岡の御家老が申すには、外記殿から参った御書の通りの写し：
「去月十六日の唐船追払いの件について違反をお聞きになったところ、この度の鉄砲による打払いの仕方がよろしいとお思し召しになった。この後漂流の節も右の通りに打払い申すべき旨を仰せ出された。右の段を申し上げるようにとのことで、井上河内守殿・久世大和守殿・戸田山城守殿の御連名の御書面をもって仰せ下された間、申し違いなく追払いを相勤めた面々へも申し上げ、油断なく心得られるよう、そのため」

Item For the purpose of repelling the Chinese ship, the special envoy Watanabe Geki stayed between Kokura and Wakamatsu, completed the repelling and inspection, and then withdrew to Nagasaki. When he heard about the attack violation on the sixteenth day of the fourth month, he conveyed this matter to Geki in Nagasaki.

"Regarding the violation in the repelling of the Chinese ship on the sixteenth day of last month, His Lordship thought the method of repelling with firearms this time was appropriate. He has ordered that future drifting incidents should also be repelled in the same manner. To convey this matter, through a joint letter from Lords Inoue Kawachi-no-kami, Kuze Yamato-no-kami, and Toda Yamashiro-no-kami, it has been ordered that this be communicated without error to those who carried out the repelling, so that they may understand and remain vigilant. For this purpose"
