参込む去程に去る廿六日打払唐船慈嶋遠見番所
よりも不相見候に付いたつらに慈嶋へ数日相詰にも不
及兎角唐船漂流之嶋浦へ相詰可然とて戌六月
四日慈嶋を出船し右之面々乗り船に而藍嶋へ渡海す
慈嶋に而も遠見よりも唐船不相見候下海には漂流可
致候と同六日藍嶋を出船し唐泊へ渡海す唐泊り遠見

一 去る五月二十六日打払いにも筒役が少数であり、用心の大筒を増やす
必要があることから、この詰番から御筒役二人増員し、大銃三挺をよそへ
参加させた。それで去る二十六日の打払いで、唐船が慈島遠見番所
からも見えなかったため、むやみに慈島へ数日詰めていても仕方がない。
とにかく唐船が漂流している島や浦へ詰めるべきだということで、戌年六月
四日に慈島を出船し、右の面々が乗り船にて藍島へ渡海した。
慈島でも遠見からも唐船は見えず、下海には漂流して
いるだろうと、同六日に藍島を出船し唐泊へ渡海した。唐泊の遠見

Item During the attack on the twenty-sixth day of the fifth month, the gunners were few in number, so it was decided to increase the defensive cannons. From this guard duty, two more gunners were added and three large guns were sent elsewhere. Therefore, during the attack on the twenty-sixth day, the Chinese ship could not be seen even from the Jishima watchtower, so it was pointless to remain stationed at Jishima for several days.
