一 地島遠見番所から遠見鏡を使って毎日御船方が見分をしているが、その詰めの報告では、唐船が地島からは七八里以内に漂流しており、地方（沿岸）にも寄らず遠沖にも出ず漂流している。天気を見計らって沖に出て打ち払おうとしたが、もはや盆の時分で我慢できないほど風が立ち、海上も波が高く日を過ごした。ところが同十四日は近頃よりも唐船が近くに見え、殊に日和も良く、今夕にでも打ち払うのが良いと決議し、例の通り日
