派遣された御筒役・御船手で唐船打払いの際に働いた者を御飯に召し出し、御老中が御列座し、御月番太郎兵衛殿が仰せ渡された。今度の船漂流に付き、数度所々で打払いに情を出して働いた段が上聞に達し、御褒賞として左の通り拝領を仰せ付けられた。

「Right Volume」
The artillery officers (otsutsuyaku) and naval officers (ofunatate) who were dispatched and worked during the Chinese ship repulsion operations were summoned for a formal meal. The senior councilors (rōjū) were present in attendance, and the monthly duty officer Tarōbei announced: "Regarding this recent ship drift incident, [these men] showed dedication and worked hard in repulsion operations at various locations multiple times. This has reached the Shogun's attention, and as a reward, the following grants are bestowed":
