唐船漂流之儀前之通冬海故海上弥荒荒唐船近
寄儀も有之といへとも沖出難成唐船洋中の泊船
日々遭に付為見分之筒役五艘之内ゟ毎日沖見と
して小船頭相加り罷出然處に十二月十九日より唐
船帆類不相見此段福岡へ早々 注進有

唐船漂流の件について、前の通り冬の海のため海上がますます荒れ、唐船が近寄ることもあるけれども、沖に出ることが困難である。唐船は洋中に停泊しており、日々遭遇するため、見分のために筒役五艘の内から毎日沖見として小船頭を加えて出航している。しかし十二月十九日より唐船の帆などが見えなくなった。この件について福岡へ早急に注進があった。
一、唐船が見えなくなったため交代として、戌年十二月二十五日に派遣された御人数の乗組は以下の通り

Regarding the matter of the drifting Chinese ship, as before, due to the winter sea, the ocean surface has become increasingly rough, and although the Chinese ship sometimes approaches, it is difficult to venture offshore. The Chinese ship is anchored in the open sea, and since encounters occur daily, small boat captains are added from among the five artillery vessels for daily offshore reconnaissance missions. However, from the 19th day of the 12th month, the Chinese ship's sails and such could no longer be seen. Regarding this matter, there was an urgent report to Fukuoka.
