依御下知に芦屋引取る大筒山廉御蔵に入御用丸其外之
船祇園前浜に引揚かこふ
一 重而唐船漂来之節出方請持仰付被置
一 従江戸御下知為之惣而此間より唐船打払度々有
之候得とも頼而又漂来御条為御見合之先打払之
儀相止見合候様依御下知芦屋表へ御人数不被
指立依之八月二十九日用心請持之面々御免
一 同十月小倉より福岡江申来候は長崎御政所日下部
丹波守殿御交代に御越被成候条福岡ヘ唐船相払役人

右在勤中、唐船は見えなかった旨を福岡へ度々報告し、七月二十八日
「左帖」
御下知により芦屋から引き取り、大筒を山廉御蔵に入れ、御用丸その他の船を祇園前浜に引き上げて格納した。
一 重ねて唐船が漂来した節の出動方法を請け持つよう仰せ付けられた。
一 江戸からの御下知により、総じてこの間より唐船の打ち払いは度々あったが、頼りなく又漂来する。御条項を御見合わせの上、先ず打ち払いの儀は相止め、様子を見るよう御下知により、芦屋表へ人数を派遣せず、これにより八月二十九日、用心請け持ちの面々を御免とした。
一 同年十月、小倉より福岡江申し来たのは、長崎御政所の日下部丹波守殿が御交代で御越しになられる条件で、福岡へ唐船を相払う役人を

During the above period of duty, no Chinese ships were sighted, and this was reported to Fukuoka several times on July 28th.
"Left Volume"
According to orders received, they withdrew from Ashiya, stored the large cannons in the Yamakado official warehouse, and pulled up the official vessels and other boats to Gion-mae beach for storage.
1. They were ordered to maintain readiness for deployment procedures in case Chinese ships should drift in again.
1. According to orders from Edo, there had been frequent attempts to drive away Chinese ships during this period, but unreliably they would drift back again. In consideration of the official regulations, it was ordered to suspend the driving-away operations for the time being and observe the situation. Accordingly, no personnel were dispatched to the Ashiya area, and on August 29th, those responsible for security duties were relieved.
