産後（さんご）は。時行（はやり）病（やまひ）。その外 瘡（でもの）腫（はれもの）といへども。かならず平時（へいじ）の人と同（おな）
じ事におもふことなかれ。たとへ病勢（ひやうせい）ゆるく見（み）ゆるとも。心（こゝろ）をとめ
て介抱（かいほう）すべし。産後（さんご）の当病（たうびやう）は前段（せんだん）にしるしぬれども。その遺漏（のこり）
をこゝに出（いだ）す。前陰（ぜんいん）ひらきて合（あは）ざるあり。前陰（ぜんいん）突出（いづる）ものあり。子宮（しきう）【左ルビ：こふくろ】

に至ったならば、なおいっそう保養を大切にすべきである。全体的にこの症状は、気
血が衰えることから発生するものなので、二年三年の長期間でも、
固く色欲を慎むべきである。たとえ滋養のある補薬をいかほど用い
ても、この慎みがなければ、百人が百人、快気を遂げる者はいない。
しかるに誤って、世俗の根拠のない噂にのみ惑わされ、あちらの霊符、こ
ちらの流行神とばかり、四方にさまよっているだけ。まことに籠で水を汲
むという諺と同じで、良い兆候が見える理由があろうか。古人
の言葉にも、沸騰を止めるのに水を用いるよりは、まず薪を
取り去るにしかず。病を治すのに薬を用いるよりは、まず色欲を絶

つにしかず。色欲を絶たなければ、病気はますます甚だしいと言っている。蓐労の保
養も、服薬・薬膳を第二義と心得るべきである。とにかく志の深い医師を
選んで、その教えに従うのがよい。

産後は、流行病、その他皮膚病・腫れ物といっても、必ず平常時の人と同
じことと思ってはならない。たとえ病勢が軽く見えても、心を留め
て介抱すべきである。産後の代表的な病気は前段に記したが、その漏れ
をここに出す。前陰が開いて合わさらないものがある。前陰が突出するものがある。子宮
が出て収まらないものがある。これはみな出産の時、いきむことを強くし
