ぐ輩（ともがら）まで。安産（あんさん）うたがひなし。たゞ前（まへ）にしるしぬる。
戒（いましめ）慎（つゝしむ）の二字（にじ）を忘（わす）れざるこそ専要（せんよう）なれ。

【左丁】
余（よ）が先子（せんし）艮山世（ごんさんよ）に在（いま）せし時（とき）つねに人に対（たい）し
て貴（たつとき）も賎（いやしき）も父母（ちゝは）につかへ妻子（つまこ）ある人は医（ゐ）の道（みち）
を学（まな）び心得ざればおもほえず不慈（ふじ）不孝（ふかう）になり
なんと唐土（もろこし）の書（ふみ）など引（ひき）て教訓（きやうくん）せられしとか
その治療（ぢりやう）のをしへもすべて簡易（かんゐ）にして用（よう）に
切（せつ）なるを本（もと）とすこのことわきてふかき心（こゝろ）ありと
いへどもたゞ人の弁（わきま）へやすく行（おこな）ひやすきを主（しゆ）と
せりさるに近（ちか）きころとなりては医（ゐ）の風義（ふうぎ）も

【右丁】
ぐ者たちまで、安産間違いなし。ただ前に記した
戒めと慎みの二字を忘れないことこそ最も重要である。

私の先師である艮山先生がご存命の時、常に人に対して
貴い身分の者も賤しい者も、父母に仕える者や妻子のある人は医の道
を学び心得なければ、思わず不慈悲・不孝になってしまう
などと中国の書物などを引用して教訓されていたとか。
その治療の教えもすべて簡単で実用的
なことを基本とする。このことは特に深い心があると
言えども、ただ人が理解しやすく行いやすいことを主
