　　之次第御吟味之上海岸村々へ荷物其外
　　流寄候はゝ届出候様御触達相成於村
　　片者万事実意に気を附聊ニ而も非分
　　之儀無之様厳重被仰付尚平波に相成
　　候はゝ又々元船尋方可被仰付段被仰《見せ消ち：去》渡候
　　然處其御屋敷様より御米難事御身分
　　として御自分様御出張被成外積合荷主
　　廻船問屋等も参着致し右一條具に
　　御承知之上大風之事故定而元船積荷共
　　遠沖へ流出たるに而悉海中捨切にし而浦
　　仕舞被仰付度段御申出相成り御聞済之
　　處相違無御座候跡々海上之儀者不存

　　の次第をご吟味の上、海岸村々へ荷物その他が
　　流れ寄った場合は届け出るよう御触達が出され、村
　　方では万事実意に気を付け、少しでも不正な
　　ことがないよう厳重に申し付けられ、なお平穏になった
　　場合はまた元の船を捜索するよう申し付けられる旨仰せ渡された。
　　そうしたところ、その御屋敷様より御米難事について、御身分
　　として御自身で御出張なされ、外積み合い荷主や
　　廻船問屋等も到着し、右の一件について詳しく
　　御承知の上、大風のことゆえきっと元船と積荷共に
　　遠沖へ流出したであろうから、すべて海中に捨て切りとして浦
　　仕舞いを申し付けたい旨お申し出があり、御聞き済みの
　　ところ相違ございません。後々海上のことは存じ

　　ませんが、偽りなき旨、船頭水主の口書を取り置き、浦証文を
　　お渡し申すところ、件の如し。

　　After examining these circumstances, orders were issued to coastal villages to report if any cargo or other items
　　washed ashore, and in the villages,
　　all matters should be handled with sincerity, with strict orders that there be no improper
　　conduct whatsoever, and furthermore, when conditions became calm,
　　another search for the original vessel should be ordered, as was commanded.
　　Thereupon, from that lord's residence, regarding the rice disaster, befitting his
　　status, he personally made an official visit, and the co-loading cargo owners and
　　shipping agents also arrived. After thoroughly
　　understanding the details of this matter, given that it was a great storm, certainly the original vessel and its cargo
　　had drifted far offshore, and it was requested that everything be considered completely lost at sea and the coastal
　　settlement be finalized, which was approved.
　　There is no error in this. Though we do not know of subsequent maritime matters,

　　we certify this as truthful, having recorded the testimonies of the captain and sailors, and hereby
　　deliver this coastal certificate as stated.
