五百余里で、その間は高山大川があり道のりが困難で、小役人が往復するのに多くの日数を要し、すぐには到着できないため、我が役所があなた方の船をこの地に移泊させました。この地は塩津と呼ばれ、府城からそう遠くなく、何事にも大変便利で、求めて得られないものはありません。船上で少しでも必要なものがあれば申し出てください。役所に相談して差し上げます。また、この地方は長崎への順路でもありますので、船の皆様はご心配なさらないでください。

大官人様のご恩憐を蒙り、船では薪も米もなく、海上にいた日数が長く、大縄も使用できず、帆も風で破れて使い物になりません。 王

十二月初六日、西にいて一つの大山を見ました。南北に小山が八、九個あり、ただ近寄ることができず、大山に上ることもできませんでした。また西北風が起こって東南に向かい、四日五晩経ち、風が止むとまた西に向かって進みましたが、西風が大きく、すぐに東南に向かいました。二十日二十一晩でした。
