差し上げ申す一札の事
一、この度、小出村・殿島村の両地元と南新田村の入会に関する一本山について、御裁定をいただくべき論争が生じましたことにつき、右の争論の地を御見分にお越しいただき、村々の役人が御案内するよう仰せ付けられ、謹んでお受けいたします。御案内の際の御尋ねのことについては、偽りを申し上げることなく、ありのままに申し上げます。
御案内の先において、争論の当事者（役人）が争論を起こすようなことは決していたしません。御尋ねがございます際には、ありのままに申し上げます。
一、御案内の道筋については、御指図の通りに従います。
一、御賄いのことについては、御定めの通りにいたし、不正なことは一切いたしません。

A Formal Pledge Hereby Submitted
Item: Regarding the dispute that has arisen this time over a single mountain (hitomoto-yama) pertaining to the shared use (iriai) between the two home villages of Koide Village and Tojima Village on one side, and Minami-Shinden Village on the other, and in connection with the official inspection (kenbu) of the disputed site to which you have graciously come, we humbly accept the order for the village officials to serve as guides. Concerning any inquiries made during the guided inspection, we shall report nothing falsely and shall state matters exactly as they are.
We shall in no way engage in quarrelsome behavior during the guided inspection. Should any inquiries be directed to us, we shall respond truthfully and as matters stand.
Item: Regarding the route of the guided inspection, we shall follow your instructions accordingly.
Item: Regarding provisions (hospitality/lodging arrangements), we shall act in accordance with established regulations and shall commit no improprieties whatsoever.
