One: Lord Kurushima Shinano-no-kami is ill in Fushimi, and at this time his condition is said to be very poor.

One: When Lord Matsudaira Nagato-no-kami inquired about the timing of his sankin-kōtai service, since Lord Matsudaira Suruga-no-kami was ill, the sankin-kōtai was postponed and he was immediately ordered to remain in his domain for this year as well. Therefore, Lord Nagato-no-kami was ordered to proceed to Edo during the sixth month of this year.
