取之御白書院御上壇え
出御中将少将侍従四品諸大夫布衣
役人迄一人宛 御手自餅頂戴相済
小サ刀有之所え罷越指候て即刻退出
但小サ刀に札を付自分之名書付候

但し同晩の御玄猪の節は月次御礼がない
場合は西の丸へ出仕に及ばないこと。
一、御玄猪の節は熨斗目に長袴を着用し、七時過ぎに登
城する。通常の席にて待合する。
出御前に松の御廊下へ廻り、着座して小刀を
取る。御白書院御上壇へ
出御される。中将・少将・侍従・四品・諸大夫・布衣・
役人まで一人ずつ御手ずから餅を頂戴し済ませる。
小刀のある所へ参り差して即刻退出する。
但し小刀に札を付け、自分の名を書き付ける。
十五日

However, if there is no monthly formal salutation during the evening Inoko ceremony,
then there is no need to attend duties at the Western Citadel.
One: For the Inoko ceremony, wear noshime and long hakama, and ascend to the
castle after 7 o'clock. Wait at the usual seat.
Before his lordship's appearance, go around to the Pine Corridor, be seated and take
the small sword. To the upper dais of the White Shoin
his lordship appears. From chūjō, shōshō, jijū, fourth rank, various daibu, hōi,
to officials, each person receives rice cakes directly from his lordship's hand.
Go to where the small sword is, place it there, and immediately withdraw.
However, attach a tag to the small sword and write one's own name on it.
15th day
