出一統頂戴之御酒三献御餅一ツ二ツ紙包
懐中相済御老中着座之前え高家
衆一同に罷出御祝儀申上退出

十三日
一、御煤取り詰日に当たる節は、麻上下を着用して登
城すること。
二十一日
一、御誕生日につき熨斗目半上下にて登
城する。御老中は芙蓉の間に着座し、同席中は
雁の間に着座する。芙蓉の間の方を上席と
する。高家衆は次に着座し、向かい側には芙蓉の間の
役人衆が着座する。御老中をはじめ一同に御餅と御酒が
出され、一統で頂戴する。御酒は三献、御餅は一つ二つを紙に包んで
懐中に収める。済んだ後、御老中が着座している前へ高家
衆一同で罷り出て御祝儀を申し上げて退出する。
二十八日
一、例年通りに出仕し、熨斗目半上下を着用する。但し
御礼が済んだ以後は通常の席にて歳暮の
御祝儀を申し上げ、西の丸へ出仕すること。
一、立春詰日に当たる節は、平服にて登
城すること。
一、年中御礼衆がある節は、麻上下にて
いつでも登城すること。
一、詰日に罷り出る刻限は四ツ時に登城すること。
一、詰日の節
大納言様が御本丸へお入りになる節は、
御成りの時のみ御目見えすること。
一、詰日の節、大目付衆から書付を渡される節、
又は口上にて申し聞かされる儀は、同席中へ
回状を以って申し遣わすこと。
但し御礼衆がある旨の御沙汰を承る場合は回状を以って
申し遣わすこと。

13th day
One: On days when soot-cleaning duties are assigned, wear hemp formal dress (asa-kamishimo) when ascending to the castle.
21st day
One: For the birthday celebration, ascend to the castle wearing noshime half formal dress. The senior councilors (rōjū) sit in the Fuyō-no-ma chamber, while colleagues sit in the Kari-no-ma chamber. The Fuyō-no-ma side is considered the upper position. The high-ranking families (kōke-shū) sit next, and across from them sit the officials of the Fuyō-no-ma chamber. Rice cakes and sake are served to all, beginning with the senior councilors, and everyone partakes together. Three rounds of sake and one or two rice cakes wrapped in paper are placed in one's breast pocket. After this is completed, all the high-ranking families go before where the senior councilors are seated to offer congratulations and then withdraw.
28th day
One: Attend duties as usual, wearing noshime half formal dress. However, after the formal ceremonies are completed, offer year-end congratulations from the regular seats and attend duties at the Western Citadel.
One: On days when spring duties (risshun tsume-bi) are assigned, ascend to the castle in plain clothes.
One: Throughout the year when there are formal salutation groups, always ascend to the castle in hemp formal dress.
One: The appointed time for appearing on duty days is the fourth hour (around 10 AM) for ascending to the castle.
One: On duty days, when the Great Councilor enters the main citadel, have an audience only during the formal visit.
One: On duty days, when documents are handed down from the senior inspectors (ōmetsuke), or when matters are communicated orally, send a circular notice to colleagues. However, when receiving official word about formal salutation groups, send word via circular notice.
