一 月次御礼日 御鷹野
御成之節詰日斗登 城装束染
小袖麻上下着用之事
一 上野増上寺 御成之節早朝雨天にて
御成御延引に成候節は於彼地御老中方え
懸御目相済候紅葉山
御成之節は雨天に候得は登
城候事
【ここまで三十七】
一 御鷹之雁拝領之節前晩御奉書
到来何時登 城可仕之旨申来候或
御礼日之節は居残候様にと被申伝候儀も
有之候御雁之間老中列座同席一同に
罷出
御鷹之雁被下候旨老中申伝鳥は
中奥御番衆持之同席壱人ツヽ罷出雁
之足に手を付頂戴之畢て又一統に罷出
候て御礼申上之退去御老中方斗
御礼相廻り若年寄相廻り候に不及候由
享保十八丑年十二月五日申合
但右御礼廻り之儀は其時々にゟ申合
相違申候

一 在所御暇被下候節は御黒書院又は月次
之御礼之節は御御白書院一同罷出
御暇被下之
上意有之候て退去
一 参勤之御礼申上候節も右同断
一 惣て被為 召登 城仕候節は西丸えも

一、月次御礼日・御鷹野・
御成りの節は、詰日のみ登城、装束は染
小袖・麻上下を着用すること
一、上野・増上寺への御成りの節、早朝雨天にて
御成りが御延期になった節は、現地にて御老中方へ
お目通りを済ませること。紅葉山
御成りの節は雨天であれば登城
すること
一、御鷹の雁を拝領する節、前晩に御奉書が
到来し、何時に登城すべき旨申し来る。或いは
御礼日の節は居残るようにと申し伝えられることも
ある。御雁の間にて老中が列座し、同席一同が
罷り出て、
御鷹の雁を下される旨を老中が申し伝える。鳥は
中奥御番衆が持参し、同席が一人ずつ罷り出て、雁
の足に手を付けて頂戴し終えて、また一同が罷り出て
御礼を申し上げて退去する。御老中方のみに
御礼回りをし、若年寄への回りは及ばないとのこと。
享保十八年丑年十二月五日申し合わせ
但し右の御礼回りの儀は、その時々により申し合わせ
相違する
一、在所への御暇を下される節は御黒書院又は月次
の御礼の節は御白書院にて一同罷り出て
御暇を下される
上意があって退去する
一、参勤の御礼を申し上げる節も右同様
一、総て召されて登城する節は西丸へも
出仕すること

One: For monthly courtesy visits, hawking expeditions, and formal visits, only those on duty ascend to the castle, wearing dyed kosode and hemp kamishimo as formal attire.
One: For formal visits to Ueno and Zōjōji temple, if the visit is postponed due to early morning rain, have an audience with the Senior Councilors at the location. For visits to Momijiyama, if it is rainy weather, ascend to the castle.
One: When receiving the gift of hawks and geese, an official letter arrives the evening before stating what time to ascend to the castle. Sometimes on courtesy visit days, one is told to remain behind. In the Goose Chamber, the Senior Councilors sit in formation, and all colleagues appear together. The Senior Councilor announces that hawks and geese are being bestowed. The birds are carried by the inner palace guards, and colleagues come forward one by one to receive them by touching the feet of the geese. After this is completed, all appear together again to express gratitude and withdraw. Courtesy rounds are made only to the Senior Councilors; rounds to the Junior Councilors are not necessary. This was agreed upon on the 5th day of the 12th month of Kyōhō 18, year of the Ox. However, these courtesy round procedures may differ depending on the occasion as agreed upon at the time.
One: When given leave to return to one's domain, everyone appears together in the Black Study Hall, or for monthly courtesy visits, in the White Study Hall, where leave is granted and one withdraws after receiving the lord's command.
One: The same applies when expressing gratitude for sankin service.
One: In general, when summoned to ascend to the castle, one must also serve at the Western Citadel.
