昨日御礼衆有之候処病気之儀には可有
之候得共詰日衆御人少に付

現代語訳
昨日御礼衆があったところ、病気のことには違いないだろうが、詰日衆の人数が少ないために、
お目障りになるだろう。少々のことであれば、
無理をしてでも出席するのが然るべきことである。詰日にも二三人
宛て出席するはずのところ、近頃は一人宛ても
時々見受けられる。そのようなことがあってはならないことである。
これもまた申し合わせて、二人宛て出席するようにするのが然るべきである。
右の趣旨を申し達すべきである。
一、朔望の他、二十八日に御礼があるもの
正月 四月 七月 十二月
二十八日に御礼がないもの
二月 三月 五月 六月 八月
九月 十月 十一月
右の通り、今後心得ておくべきである。

Yesterday there was a ceremonial gathering, and while it may indeed have been due to illness, because the number of duty attendants is small, it would be unseemly in the lord's eyes. If it is only a minor matter, one should force oneself to attend as is proper. Even on duty days, while two or three people are supposed to attend each, recently even one person at a time is only occasionally seen. Such situations should not occur. This too should be coordinated so that two people at a time attend as is proper. The above directive should be communicated.
One: In addition to the new moon and full moon ceremonies, months with ceremonies on the 28th day:
1st month, 4th month, 7th month, 12th month
Months without ceremonies on the 28th day:
2nd month, 3rd month, 5th month, 6th month, 8th month,
9th month, 10th month, 11th month
The above should be understood and followed henceforth.
