「右帖」 仕組一?氏間仰せ付けられた通り油断なく才覚し、唐船の御仕組みが済むまで当分芦屋・若松表いずれも滞留して勤めるべき旨、御直々にも入念に太い大筒を以て唐船を打ち破るべき旨を仰せ遣わされた。次に善右衛門・磯部弥次兵衛へは、今度唐船へ乗り寄せる際は太い大筒を打たせ船手の者働くべき旨、御直々にも手強く打たせるべき旨の御意を仰せ遣わされた。その次に御筒役が仰せ付けられ、後の間で尋ねられた書に有田幸太夫・来嶋左平太・村上藤九郎・岡本惣太夫・神田新作・川崎喜助・長谷川貞八・藤野久八・高隅又太郎・安住兵作・丸尾弥 「左帖」 兵衛・同弥太郎・高野茂助・同儀右衛門、御船手には村上弥右衛門・小山善之助・山路次兵衛・中山助太夫、皆並び居た。殿様が御出座遊ばされ、御筒役いずれも御意の趣旨を六左衛門殿が仰せ付けられた後、今度唐船へ仕寄せる際は随分手強く大筒を打ち掛け相働くべき旨、御適の趣旨を言い終わり、御直々にも情け無く打ち掛けるべきとの御適を蒙った。弥次兵衛・善右衛門が御請け申し上げ、皆も重き御適を蒙り次第存じ奉ると御請け申し上げて退出した。翌二十七日交代日につき芦屋へいずれも

They were directly ordered to carefully use heavy cannons to destroy the Chinese ships. Next, Zenemon and Isobe Yahee were told that when approaching the Chinese ships this time, they should fire heavy cannons and have the naval personnel take action, and they were directly ordered to attack vigorously.
