「左帖」
享保五年子年の春より芦屋出張交代について、公儀より唐船の御仕組が新たに仰せ出され、六月に唐船が遭難した件について記す。
一 享保四年亥年十月中旬頃より前に記録した場所の加筆として、大伝地の伝説にある遠洋からの唐船が、同年十二月十二日頃より帆の影が見えなくなったため、芦屋在勤の御無足頭・御船手頭より福岡へ注進に及んだ。いよいよ帆影も見えない場合には、芦屋在勤の者たちを引き取らせるようにと、同十二月二十九日に申し来たため、享保五年子年正月元日に芦屋在勤の面々を引き取らせた件が前にある。

Regarding the spring of Kyoho 5, year of the rat, concerning the rotation of duty assignments at Ashiya, new arrangements for Chinese ships were newly decreed by the government, and this records the matter of a Chinese ship wreck in the sixth month.
1. From around mid-October of Kyoho 4, year of the boar, as an addition to the previously recorded location, regarding the Chinese ship from distant waters mentioned in the legend of Odenjhi, since the ship's sail could not be seen from around the 12th day of the 12th month of the same year, a report was made to Fukuoka from the ashigaru commanders and naval commanders stationed at Ashiya. If the sail could indeed no longer be seen, orders came on the 29th day of the 12th month to withdraw those stationed at Ashiya, and accordingly the personnel stationed at Ashiya were withdrawn on New Year's Day of Kyoho 5, year of the rat, as mentioned previously.
