の台を居（すえ）、其上へ板を渡し、二人の女子、両端（りやうはし）に対（むか）ひ
て立、一人 躍（をと）り上れば、一人は下にあり、躍上りたる女子、
本の所へ落下る勢ひにて、こなたに立たる女子は、五六尺
も刎（はね）上るなり、其躰、転倒（てんとう）せさるを妙とす、其地北極地
を出る事二十五六度なる故、暖気も格別にて桃桜の
花も綻（ほころ）び、長春は四季ともに花咲ども、わけて此月を
盛とす、羊躑躅（つつし）は殊更見事なり、元日王宮の花瓶（はなかめ）
に挿（さす）事、恒例（かうれい）なるよし、薩州の人の直話なり、蛇はし
めて穴を出、始て電（いなひかり）し、雷すなはち声を発す、枇杷
の実 熟（じゆく）す、元朝これを食ふ、正三五九の四￣ケ月を

の台を据え、その上へ板を渡し、二人の女子が両端に向かい合って立つ。一人が踊り上がれば、一人は下にあり、踊り上がった女子が元の所へ落下する勢いで、こちらに立っていた女子は五六尺も跳ね上がる。その体が転倒しないのを巧妙とする。その地は北極を出ること二十五六度であるので、暖気も格別で桃や桜の花も綻び、長春は四季ともに花が咲くけれども、特にこの月を盛りとする。羊躑躅は殊更見事である。元日に王宮の花瓶に挿すことが恒例であるとのこと。薩州の人の直話である。蛇が穴から出始め、初めて稲光がして、雷がすなわち声を発する。枇杷の実が熟す。元朝にこれを食う。正三五九の四ヶ月を

A platform is set up, and a board is placed across it. Two women stand facing each other at both ends. When one person jumps up, the other is down below. With the momentum of the woman who jumped up falling back to her original position, the woman standing on this side springs up five or six feet. The skill lies in not falling over during this motion. While flowers bloom in all four seasons in this land of eternal spring, this month is considered the peak season. The azaleas are particularly magnificent.
