天水（あまみづ）を湛（たゝ）へ、下田（くぼた）は次第 坻（びく）にし、泉を引て
下し漑（そゝ）ぐ、入江小河などいづれも鹵入（しほいり）なる故

○貢物
琉球国王より、公（おほやけ）へみつぎする物件（しな〳〵）は、
儀刀（あがりたち）《割書：一腰｜ 》飾馬《割書：二疋｜ 》卓（つくえ）《割書：青貝、蒔絵、｜なとなり、》大盒子（おほちきらう）《割書：朱縁黒漆、｜沈金、青貝》
《割書：等なり｜ 》芭蕉布《割書：無地、嶋織、染たるも、｜練ざるとなり、》大平布《割書：麻なり、幕｜幟なとに》

物産は、中山伝信録、土産の部にくはしけれは爰に
もらせり、其条下に、油樹なるもの有り其葉橘
の如く、実もまた橘の大￣サ の如し、以て油に
現代語訳
天水を湛え、下田は次第に低くし、泉を引いて下して灌漑する。入江や小河などはいずれも塩水が入るため、田地の用水になり難いとのことである。
○貢物
琉球国王より、幕府へ献上する品々は、
儀刀（一腰）、飾馬（二疋）、卓（青貝、蒔絵などである）、大盒子（朱縁黒漆、沈金、青貝などである）
芭蕉布（無地、島織、染めたるものもあるが、練っていないという）、大平布（麻である、幕や幟などに作る、太平は地名である）
久米綿（久米は地名である）、泡盛酒、官香（長い線香である）、龍涎香（焼物である、香餅という、碁石ほどの大きさに固め、表面に寿福の文字を刻印する）
寿帯香（色が白く細い線香である、燃えるにしたがってその体がミミズのように、くるくると巻いて蛇を避けることは珍しい）
大抵これらの物であるとのこと。幕府より琉球人への賜り物は、

They collect rainwater, gradually lower the bottom fields, and draw springs down to irrigate them. Since the inlets and small rivers all have salt water entering them, they are difficult to use as irrigation water for rice fields.
○Tribute
The items that the King of Ryukyu presents to the shogunate are:
Ceremonial swords (one sword), decorated horses (two horses), tables (made with mother-of-pearl and maki-e lacquer work), large boxes (red-bordered black lacquer with sunken gold and mother-of-pearl work)
Banana fiber cloth (plain, island-woven, some dyed but unrefined), Taihei cloth (made of hemp, used for curtains and banners; Taihei is a place name)
Kume cotton (Kume is a place name), awamori liquor, official incense (long incense sticks), dragon saliva incense (ceramic items called incense cakes, hardened to the size of go stones with the characters for longevity and fortune stamped on the surface)
Jutai incense (white-colored thin incense sticks that curl like earthworms as they burn, and it is remarkable that they repel snakes)
These are generally the items presented. The gifts from the shogunate to the Ryukyu people are:
To the King: 100 pieces of silver, 500 bundles of cotton
To the envoys: 200 pieces of silver, 10 sets of seasonal clothing
To all personnel: 300 pieces of silver
These are bestowed as described above.
