1. The master of ceremonies takes the lead (with the lord's entrance), and formal greetings are exchanged. At that time, they prostrate themselves and after the passage is completed, following behind, the seating magistrates and three captains take their seats at the designated locations as shown in the diagram. After that, the junior councilors arrive and take their seats at the designated locations in the diagram, and the formal meal is served.
1. After the formal meal is served, the senior councilors appear and formal greetings are exchanged, and the junior councilors also appear in the same manner.

1. When the serving of the bowls (go-hachi) is completed, the two seating magistrates come forward according to the diagram and offer greetings saying "Please take your time to enjoy the meal," then withdraw to their original seats and remain there. After the sake serving (go-chōshi) is completed, both again come forward to offer greetings saying "Please partake of the sake," then withdraw to their original seats and remain there.
1. The ceremonial island stands (go-shimadai) and serving stands (oshinodai) are brought out, and messengers from the senior councilors arrive. When this is completed, the formal entertainment proceeds successively, all the dining implements are removed without exception, and the junior councilors withdraw.
1. As in the beginning, the masters of ceremonies offer their farewell respects. At this time as well, they take their seats at the designated locations as shown in the diagram as before. The masters of ceremonies take the lead in the send-off, and at that time they prostrate themselves and offer greetings.
However, according to precedent, since no one follows behind, with the mindset of providing protection, they would accompany from behind to the vicinity of the Sakuranoma (Cherry Room), but in recent times, they do not offer send-off respects.
1. Regarding the seating magistrates partaking of the formal meal early, this matter should be communicated in advance to the inspectors in charge of the Takenoma.
However, when going to partake of the formal meal, they should go after the Sanbaso dance is completed.
