一当村石切之儀者不残詮儀仕今年□□
之外壱人も無御座候弟子等召抱申間敷
尚又心得違無之様申聞候処奉畏候
此外隠置後日ニ及御聞候ハヽ其御元御注
進可被成候其上拙者共如何様之御咎筋
被 仰付候共少も御恨無御座候為後日

差し出し申す一札の事
一、当村の石切の件については、残らず詮議いたし、今年は□□の外は一人もおりません。弟子等を召し抱えることはいたしません。なお、心得違いのないよう申し聞かせたところ、畏まって承知いたしました。
この外に隠し置き、後日お聞きになることがございましたら、その元へご注進なさってください。その上で私どもがいかなるお咎めを仰せ付けられましても、少しも恨みに思うことはございません。後日のために一札、よって件の如し。

Regarding the matter of stone cutters in our village: We have thoroughly investigated all of them, and this year there is no one except for □□. We shall not employ any apprentices. Furthermore, we have instructed them to avoid any misconduct, and they have humbly accepted our guidance.
Should there be any concealed matters that come to your attention in the future, please report them to the authorities. Even if we should receive any punishment whatsoever, we harbor no resentment. This pledge is made for future reference.
