差上申一札之事
一他国石切稼ニ罷出候者共儀
五人組切ニ吟味仕人別請人
相立罷出申候尤御年貢
御役儀等無滞様可仕候
御事
一従 御公儀様被
仰付候御法度之儀は
不及申常々被 仰付候
通り御仕置於先々ニ相背
申間鋪候此段相守候様ニ被
仰付奉得其意候御事
一此者共儀於先々ニ定宿
脇書ニ相記候通り御座候
暮ニ至り不罷帰羲御座候ハヽ

現代語訳
差し上げ申す一札の事
一、他国石切稼ぎに出かける者たちの件について
五人組ごとに吟味を行い、人別請人を
立てて出かけ申す。もちろん年貢や
役儀等は滞りなく務めるべき
事
一、幕府様から
仰せ付けられる法度の件は
申すまでもなく、常々仰せ付けられる
通り、出先での仕置きに背く
ことはいたしません。この点を守るよう
仰せ付けられ、その意を得ております事
一、この者たちの件について、出先での定宿は
脇書きに記載した通りでございます。
年の暮れに至っても帰らない場合は、
請人並びに五人組まで御注進

A written pledge submitted
Item: Regarding those who go out to other provinces for stone-cutting work
Each five-person group shall conduct examinations and
establish guarantors for individual members before departure.
Of course, they shall fulfill their annual tax payments
and official duties without delay.
Item: Regarding the prohibitions
issued by the Shogunate,
it goes without saying that they shall follow
the usual directives and not violate
the local regulations at their destinations.
We have received and understood the directive
to observe these points.
Item: Regarding these individuals, their regular lodgings
at their destinations are as recorded in the margin.
Should they fail to return by year's end,
we shall report to both their guarantors and five-person groups.
