▲染之助の城跡 この城跡の景色は、世を経るに随って趣深く、眺めがある。似せもの語（かたる）に曰く、「染之介」という文字を句の頭に置いて、城跡の心を詠めとあったので、
そのにうへて めでたし花かは のちの世も
すみこしあとの けしきをぞそふ

▲Ruins of Somenosuke's Castle The scenery of these castle ruins grows more evocative and picturesque as the years pass. In the style of a "resemblance tale" [nisemono-gatari], it was proposed to compose a verse with the characters "So-me-no-su-ke" placed at the head of each line, capturing the spirit of the castle ruins. Thus:
So— [planted upon the field,] how glorious the flower river,
Even in the world to come—
Following the scenery of the ruins where one has long dwelt.
▲Matsuno Well This is a famous water of fine quality. It is a promising sign that before long it shall become widely known to all. There is an old poem:
Pledging a thousand generations, the prosperous future at Matsuno Well—
Even drawing from it, one knows the fresh young green.
▲Hana-Murasaki Shallows These shallows reveal themselves in various delightful ways as the tide ebbs. One feels it to be a truly splendid scenic spot.
