元日やこの春山の名のほまれ

▲此春山 装いもなく何事もない山の景色であるが、この山を眺めるためにこの郡は賑わうという。春山笑うがごとしといって、木の芽のほころびを山笑うというけれども、この山は四季ともに笑うがごとく人に愛される山である。
元日やこの春山の名の誉れ
▲玉章の岡 里人の手入れが上手であるゆえに、ここを築きあそこを建てて眺めある景色として名所となったのは、里人の発明というべきである。

It is said that "spring mountains are like laughter," referring to how budding trees make mountains "laugh," but this mountain seems to laugh in all four seasons and is beloved by people.
