思ひをそふる一のとみ山
▲さよ衣（ぎぬ）村 日の出の名所也ほの〳〵とあけわ
たるけしき見事なれば人皆此村にやどらん
事をもとむある旅（たび）人此所にやどりて
命かな小夜きぬむらの小夜ぎぬた
△かつ山△すがた野△きんしうが谷
△かほるが池△かすが野▲七さとの湊（みなと）
此みなとは近き比 俄（にはか）に出来たる池也 伊達（だて）の
与作といふ者此裡にてこむろぶしといふ物を作り
出せしにかつをぶしよりもきゝがよく所のうるほひ
になりしゆへくじらの寄りたる浦にもおとらじとて
七さとの湊といふ猶三四年も過なば此うらの
繁栄（はんゑい）見るがごとく末頼もし

思いを添える一の富山
▲小夜衣村 日の出の名所である。ほのぼのと明け渡る景色が見事なので、人皆この村に宿泊することを求める。ある旅人がこの所に宿泊して
いのちかな小夜衣村の小夜砧
△勝山△姿野△金州が谷
△薫るが池△春日野▲七里の湊
この湊は近頃急にできた港である。伊達の与作という者がこの里で小室節というものを作り出したところ、鰹節よりも評判がよく、土地の潤いになったので、鯨の寄る浦にも劣らないだろうということで七里の湊という。なお三、四年も過ぎればこの浦の繁栄は見るが如く、末は頼もしい。

This harbor is a port that was suddenly created recently. A man called Yosaku of Date created something called komuro-bushi in this village, and it had a better reputation than dried bonito, becoming a source of prosperity for the area. They named it Nanasato Harbor, saying it would not be inferior even to bays where whales come ashore. If three or four more years pass, the prosperity of this bay will be evident, and its future looks promising.
